Just seen mine. RVP's strike for his second is simply unbelievable tekkers :shock:

Yes what a cracker but no better than the one he scored last year @ the Emirates against Everton.. or the best one out of the lot & I believe his best goal was back in 2006 against Charlton! Boom!!!

There have been some great goals this season. Vaughn, RvP, Berba, Cisse, Benteke etc. But goal of the season? Jury is still out imo.

There have, but when the balls out in front of you on the deck, a 25-30 yard strike is great, but not technically that difficult. RVP's, where the ball is coming (great ball btw) from across and behind and on the volley. Wondrous technique and so, so difficult to get right, let alone score.

I think it was mainly due to the precision of the pass from Rooney that enabled him to strike it so cleanly.
Absolute perfection of the cross - reminded me of Beckham at his best.

Agree. But Rooney's reward? Getting substituted. That Scottish bossman is untouchable.
