They haven't even got players' correct club names. I agree, complete shambles.

Noticed a few Pontian's, Elizabeth Downs, Plympton, and Strathalbyn players scoring goals in Saturday's Div.2 A's and B's. Fair effort by those players to play sat's and sun's each weekend

Fair to say SAASL admin couldn't organise a root in a macdonalds, so not too surprising.

 Gotta love the forum's word swap for an apparently dirty word for a relaxation venue. Not too sure macdonald's would be overly happy.

Personally, I hope they keep Sat Div 2B exactly the way it is.

If you transfer then your old club stays up there but your goals move to the division your new club is in.

When I'm fit I play saturdays and sundays!

I was if you go back 10 years but point taken.

I'll rephrase to "when I'm not injured".

There's players scoring goals for us that don't play with us anymore... Isn't that right Outlaw? :)

Never fully up to date anyway.. Last year in the Bs we had a player score 18-20 but the website left it at 13-14 at the end of the season, costing him the top spot

Although in sure it was the same deal with other clubs PHW west had scored 65 or so goals, on the top scorers it tallied up to about half of that

Rather win a CHAMPIONSHIP ANY DAY then be top goal scorer and win nothing for the club.

Anyone who says differently doesn't belong on a football pitch.

Completely agree with the above statements it's a team sport after all.. My previous post was only in response to the website never being up to date...
However you need goals to win games, PHW as an example again 65 goals undefeated in the Bs last year... Clubs appoint strikers to score if they are not capable of scoring they will be criticized and in the case of clubs that pay decent money for them expect value for their money.. Goal difference can also cost you promotion or relegation. However a person should not keep their goal tally at the back of their mind and be selfish as a result, team performance and achievements by far outweigh individual glory.

The website shouldn't have a section on top goal scorers if they are not capable of keeping it accurate and up to date...

The point of my original post wasn't to heap criticism at the SAASL but to point out that we all need to be on the ball to help them out and act as proof readers for the volunteers there. Rather than let it go on unattended, I thought it only fair to raise the issue now so that they can keep on top of it.

Do you understand the word "rather", you have to choose a preference, you can't have both?

Getting quite silly constantly having to educate you.

You do understand that you are talking to a guy that when he gets asked what his favourite club is answers with 5/6 different clubs?
