don't worry you won't be progressing any further after this round, just like the last 3 years
Another Spud jealous of us Gooners progressing to the round of 16 for the 14th year straight in the UCL. Our bank account looks to be getting another top up for progressing, thank you!
This comment reminds me of comments made from uneducated Spuds in the past who claim that we wouldnt finish in the top 4 let alone qualify for the UCL but 16 years on & we are still competing with the big boys of world football

Fail to qualify with 12 points whilst Zenit St Petersburg go through with half that amount with a goal difference of -4! Football can be a cruel old game!!!

Was I the only one that noticed that Napoli scored their second with approx 2:30 gone of injury time and the ref blew the whistle straight after. They probably wouldn't have scored but surely an extra minute would have been normal to have played on?
Always amazes me the standard 1-2 minutes is played at the end of the first half - there were about 20 fouls in the first half today and no injury time????
That's why it's called 'injury time' and not 'foul time'
Napoli very unlucky to go out with 12 points, I guess the 'Lucky Arsenal' tag still applies. Still, there's a better class of people in the Europa Cup.
My fervent hope is that the Goons draw Madrid and the Spurs reject, Big Ears scores a hatty in each leg

had dortmund scored midway through the 2nd half arsenal probably would have lost 3-0 +
naps knowing dortmund still drawing with 2 minutes on the clock they would have been silly opening themselves up at the back to concede the equaliser.
basically the group came down to whoever could keep clean sheets at home and score away goals
had Napoli not conceded own goal late on v Dortmund at home and had we pinched a goal away to Arsenal then would have been looking at Napoli going through.
nevertheless feel piss.ed about having to play another 2 games in europe to interfere with the league
clean sheets now have to come in the league if we are to progress in our chase for the title
shiraz Juve not conceding in League for like 8 games, scoring in every league game ...then cant score in CL and concede in CL...pathetic!
FOOTBALL IS A FOREIGN GAME FOR HOOLIGANS & DRUNKEN PSYCHO-FANS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cocky? I wouldn't say that, just defending ourselves from your jealous rants....
We will play whoever we are drawn against and not moan, how can you when you finish second.....

We shouldn't be claiming him Haywood, he did get more first team minutes for them than us, but he did allow us to finish above them for 3 consecutive seasons by playing so poorly

Currently without a club I think. Maybe Josep would like him at AU?

Ha Ha . Did any forumite catch the news that Man.City didn't realise that by scoring one more goal and winning 4-2 @ Munich they would have topped the group and possibly got an easier opponent in the round-of-sixteen?
Pellegrini didn't know & Milner was oblivious during their respective post-match interviews.
Milner scored their 3rd in the 62nd minute so they had approx 30-minutes to go for their 4th.
So what does Pellegrini do? Substitute a forward for a midfielder and not bring on Aguero!
ESPN said Man.City employ 180 people. Some Assistant Manager or mathematical genius amongst those 180 people should surely have done their homework and told Senor Pellegrini!

Who you got in the next round of CL
No jealousy here, just stating the facts that if you played better yesterday you would have had had an easier opponent.
At least when we were in it we actually did something rather than get knocked out in the round of 16. In the last 3 seasons we've played in more CL quarter finals than you lot

One year wonders, flash in the ban couple of comments that come straight to mind
So what about the 13 seasons before the last 3, chuck in several quarters a couple of semis & a final that we lost in the last 10mins against Barca, with 10 men for 60mins!
Forever in our shadow!!!!
