Re: Twenty Tweny Big Bash
At least with the state format you could tell who is who and what team is playing! This is awful.

Awesome win by Hobart last night, justice being done after that Birt decision.

Re: Twenty Tweny Big Bash
I just noticed like AFL teams play some teams twice and only others once. What a joke!
As always deadlines to meet.
Re: Twenty Tweny Big Bash
I lost interest as soon as I saw uneven fixture list.

Re: Twenty Tweny Big Bash
seems very silly, there are 8 teams and everyone plays 7 games yet some teams dont play each other at all and play one team twice,
how hard is it to put a fixtures list together i ask
A bit like the a-league, Adelaide played Glory 3 times before they played Sydney

Local rules
Re: Twenty Tweny Big Bash
Why? Is it a dead ball when it hits the stumps at the other end, the boundary, a helmet behind the keeper or a seagull on the park?Red-4-Life wrote:Not sure how that's a 6. Should be a dead ballRookie wrote:Did you see finch last night, his shot hit the roof at etihad

Helmet - i think it might be. Certainly 5 runs to the opposition.Miyuki wrote:Why? That's ridiculous - youi can't change the rules mid season.

Re: Twenty Tweny Big Bash
Helmet on the pitch is part of the game and a 5 run penalty is fair enough but hitting the roof is outside interference I would have though.

Just consider it a three dimensional boundary.Red-4-Life wrote:Helmet on the pitch is part of the game and a 5 run penalty is fair enough but hitting the roof is outside interference I would have though.

Re: Twenty Tweny Big Bash
The only time I have ever seen it happen the seagull died, the deflection allowed the ball to pass the fielder who was on course to pick it up and the umpire signalled four.God is an Englishman wrote:I believe a seagull is considered part of the play, carry on.Poltergeist wrote:What about a seagull?
I'm sorry do you have a point or is this just another attempt to take to thread off topic?
