No late goals Robbo, stayed at 5-1, Farm dominated most of the game but think 5-1 was a bit of a blowout, anyway it is what it is. Hopefully a wake up call for the Gully of where they need to be if they want to play with the big boys next season. Farm brought a terrific bunch with them today, pretty sure they enjoyed the day, the food and the drinks. Thanks to all at the farm for hanging around and supporting the Gully by eating and drinking pretty much everything we had to offer, great work and good luck for the rest of the cup.

Downs won 6-1, nil all at half time. A half time spray from motts got the lads going.....

saw the 1st half of this game....while it was always a matter of time and the Raptors put up a brave fight......I was really surprised/disappointed with the quality of a division 1 team...
What a dumb post, 6-1 is a big loss, nil all at half time means well done to Raptors and not good enough for the Downs. Good teams respond and 6 second half goals prove that, Raptors put up a good fight appreciate there hospitality and humour during the game. Player management at its best for the downs today job done, onto Rnd 2

this is not about the Downs (who deserve credit for winning), simply making a statement about Div 1.....take it or leave it.....

Isn't that the point of the cup? Lower divs giving it a once off crack against the big boys?
Can't say that is a true reflection of all games in div1 or all clubs.

A really tough match. USC taking the lead 4 times during the match. Unlucky not to take it to extra-time. Credit to Uni's late substitute. Tore up the pitch and took the game back for Uni.

Raptors goalie pulled off a couple of great saves in the first half which kept them in it. As stated before thats what the cup is all about lower division clubs having a crack and they would of gladly taken nil all at half time if offered to them before the game. Great yiro's, their crowd enjoyed themselves taking the piss out of our shiraz ups. The game was played in good spirits with no dramas at all. All the best to the Raptors for the rest of the season not playing in the cup....

I only saw the second half in which Farm scored three goals. Personally I thought the Farm should have put about 8 away in that 45 minutes alone. Besides one header from the Gully which would have been easier to score than to miss the Gullies barely got the ball into the box.

Great performance and effort by everyone today!
In the Bs it was a hard fought game and everyone was exhausted but we are through so that's all that matters!

The As battled for 90mins and put in a brilliant performance the entire game. PG dominated for 90mins but we defended solidly and put in the effort and determination that we have been showing all year!
Fantastic performance all round today and we look forward to some Polish beers with the PG lads!
Congratulations to Polonia on their game in the B's yesterday.

Played with a lot of heart and wanted the game more than us yesterday.

All the best in the rest of the cup and your season.

Spot on LRO a couple of experienced heads in the team and some great youth - the young left back was very impressive - good bunch of lads but maybe the goalkeeper needs to learn to relax a bit! Couldn't fault his passion and confidence though! Good luck for the rest of the season Fulham and hats off for backing the youth.

Just a message from our coach.

"Many thanks to Salisbury Florina for their support and concern for one of our injured players who clashed very fairly and heavily with your keeper. Thanks to your trainer Johnny Brown. We got spanked but sportsmanship is alive and well at Florina. Cheers from iggies"

It's already been said but thank you to the Andrews Farm lads for sticking with it yesterday. It would have been easy to walk off and not bother (except their captain tried that after ten minutes), but they stuck to it and gained a lot of respect from the Easties boys. Having a chat to one of their officials and apparently they are just being ravaged by injuries and short numbers, but again fair play to them for continuing to put a squad out. All the best for the rest of the season lads.

A met traditional rivals PAC for the first time in a decade. Despite the rivalry, the match can be described as lethargic. 4-1 win to SPOC
Bs met last years reserve cup runners up in Brahma Lodge. After a missed penalty, Ian Usher (Usher, Usher, Usher) settled the tie for us 1-0
