I'll write a report when I get back to Adelaide.

Adelaide Villa v Stirling
A's 1-0 (the only game I saw)
B's 0-2
C's 6-0

A's - Villa dominated first 20 minutes, we couldn't get any control of the ball. Penalty to Villa for one of the most obvious looking dives I've seen in a while. Saved, to the immense satisfaction of the Stirling supporters who felt justice was done. Ironically it was when Stirling had started to get some play happening that Villa struck a well taken goal at the near post. Stirling forced a good save from the Villa keeper before half time. Second half Stirling had more play, but were forced to shoot from distance and hardly tested the keeper. Villa still had plenty of possession but didn't look that interested in scoring a second and played the game out reasonably comfortably. We were beaten by a better side.

B's - Apparently we were a bit scrappy, but could have scored a couple more in a tough game.

C's - Apparently we were doing well to be holding on for most of the first half. First goal was a handball at head height dropping the ball at the players feet for him to slot home. In the end though, Villa were just too good.

Northern Wolves Vs Strathalbyn

A's 11-0

Thanks to the Strathalbyn boys for coming down in wet conditions, it's a big hike but they played with good spirit and fought until the end so credit to them for that!

flying jets sounds fairly happy so I'll take a stab and say 6-1 to Modbury

I see after all these years Budapest still have the same cheating linesman. Fortunately he only did the reserves game. Budapest took the lead after a howler from the Murray Bridge keeper although personally I thought it was offside but neither the Murray Bridge linesman nor the referee gave it and the goal stood. Two more goals from defensive mistakes saw Budapest lead 0-3 at half time. Not much between the sides in the second half but the result never looked in doubt.

In the first team Murray Bridge did all the early running and lead 3-0 at one stage. Budapest pulled two back before half time, the second from the spot in what was more or less was the last kick of the half. Only the one goal in the second half but there could have been more.

I was disappointed there was no food for sale. I don't know if this is a regular thing or I just came on a bad day.

The biggest cheat of a ref/linesman I've ever had was against Murray Bridge.

Nothing worse than playing at a venue that doesn't put on a feed..... I think there should be a seperate division

The bicycle kick was closer to the corner flag than the goal :P

Nice bloke - but after all his experience, still hasn't grasped the offside rule.
**its not offside EVERYTIME the opposition pass the halfway line.

He'd get Murray Bridge minimum 10 points every year.

if it's the same guy I'm thinking of, he is... how can you put it nicely...related to my name....he would be lucky to see one figure, half the time he is calling the guy offside cos he is seeing double so there is always someone offside.
