Steve in div 1 was excellent. A class act.
Dave from 2nd division outstanding, no one else came close.
Gaz to just pip tommo in div 3. Man of the match in round 18 to seal it

That player from my club was much better than that player from your club.

finally a decent post in this forum and you 2 bell ends try to ruin it

havent seen any games apart from Sunday Div 2 but id have to say the player of the year will go to one of Eric Camarinha from Brahma Lodge, Robbie Macdonald from Brahma Lodge or James Parker from Salisbury Florina.

Hard to comment on this when you only see a certain team week in week out. Robbie MacDonald will come close you would think. Wonder if a few Brahma players take points from each other.

yeah kind of like the brownlow.. so many good players in the team you would think that may be a chance to happen. thats why i reckon Parker might be in with a chance.. he stands out in that florina team

Not sure if he has played enough games compared to macdonald to go close as wasnt he unavailable for a few weeks this year? But agree that he is one of the players at florina that can change a game.

From what I'm hearing we're not as bad as a certain coach in div 2 who was bought a new keyboard by an opposition club such was the level of crap he talks on here

Referees see things differently though and quite often votes go to players who they just know a name not necessarily who was the best on ground.

Danny Christison will do well in the votes... The refs know him, he has been busy in goals this year which will also make him stand out a bit more
Interested to know if any keepers have won POTY in the past??

Bolkus Hasbollah in the 1970 when playing with West Beach...

and I'm not sure if C. Hofmeyer was a keeper, he shared the player of the year with Bob Cox in 1967 and again with Jimbo Barr in 1968...

Another name to throw in the mixer from Sunday Div 3, Kosti Dalianas.. banging goals away for fun again this season! according to the SAASL website he has scored 22 or Payneham's 38 goals this season so in actual fact he probably has closer to 30.

Daniel Solagna in Sat Div 2 is playing very well, his lightning speed and workman like agility has truly shone through this season.

Have been watching Gleeson quite a bit this year, Luke Williams is scoring a lot of goals for them and seems to dress quite well so I'd give him some votes.

Frankel there's no way Toby is getting 3 votes while Kenrick is on the park, he's had a worldie season and runs more than a reddy brown dog.

I think Bastable is ineligible sadly. But can see both of them tying for the medal.
