Well done to the girls tonight. such fantastic pressure on the boys and u guys would not lie down, credit to u...

Thought the boys were out n out terrible for a team that won 11-0 last week or recently. Missed about 5 or 6 open goals, however, the brillance of Harvey, Cavuoto, Weidenbach and Katianos was to be marvelled at. I thought the boys were yes very skillful but def arent the complete package everyone is talking about.

SASI girls looked ok, however a lot seemed to break down in the middle. Either a careless pass or a player waited for the ball and the ball was turned over and again the defence was under threat. The ball needed to be held up more up front and dished out to the wingers as that was the only way u were gonna crack the fellas

Congrats on the performance tonight. SASI are indeed a young squad this year and as I have observed tonight one with a lot of guts and determination. I hope this continues throughout the season and u will be rewarded.

Kristi Harvey u rok!!!

SASI Vs Blue Eagles

Post by KrAzY »

Lost the game 2-1 after being 1-0 from a great strike by Danielle Barbiero (Dee) from half way between the 18 and half way she struck the ball perfectly to chip the keeper and put us in the lead! Unfortunately it was not our best performance and we let the boys back into the game resulting in a 2-1 score line at half time that was then the final score.

Next game is Vs Modbury hopefully the girls can find the form we had last week against adelaide city.

Is Danielle Barbiero Fabian Barbiero sister?
Are the SASI girls playing Metro at T.K. Shutter?
If so, when?
If you play Metro at T.K., pm Milkyway and see if he can arrange for a notice to go in the home game before match programme.

OOPS, they haven't, sorry, I thought the were playing the 15s.
Oh well, may be they can arrange a friendly, our juniors regularly play friendlies against State Teams.

Modbury 3 - SASI 1

Post by SpazzTic »

SASI girls lost 3-1 tonight after being 1-1 at half time after Stacey played a great ball to kat to score the equaliser.
Unfortunately the girls were quite flat and couldnt hold the boys out.

Good to see Mrs Trainer out there supporting the girls :)
Next game vs Playford, at Playford, Wednesday night k.o to be confirmed but would assume 6.15 or 6.30

I dont think it was a matter of luck..we had chances to finish them off and come away with the points but we let ourselves down..

Modbury were no-where near as good as the other teams we've played, however, we played nowhere near our best..

FIRE UP for next week..

Girls should have won quite comfortably. Still, a point is a point and now I think the girls have the next 4 games against teams in the lower half of the table so hopefully they can get a few wins under their belts

Two very good finishes by Victoria. Well done girls...
