When seagulls follow a trawler, it is because they think sardines will be thrown into the sea.

Re: Results Sunday 17th
Unley 1 Noarlunga 2
A game of 2 halves, Noralunga much the better team in the first half but in the end just held on in the 2nd. A 20 minute spell where Unley were all over them.
2 red cards in injury time for violent conduct. Got to feel sorry for the Noarlunga player who didn't deserve the red at all. Unley player running 10 yards to throw punches, Noarlunga player without any reaction apart from to try to block the punches and move out of the way, only for Unley player to then run behind his mates when others came in. Cowardly act from the Unley player and a great deal of discipline from the Noarlunga player to not react and retaliate. Unfortunately, the ref saw it very differently and strangely sent both players off.
I must say the facilities were excellent down at Unley. I enjoyed some great banter from their vociferous crowd and enjoyed a beer and a lovely steak sandwich from their BBQ. Hold on I am thinking of somewhere else - no bar, no BBQ and no atmosphere at all.

The only thing that can stop Brahma is the SAASL website which shows they only have 3 points from 2 wins.

Would it hurt if I said that we enjoyed the Noarlunga crowd, and that you were much better behaved than the private PAFC boys ??

I was most intrigued by the Unley "supporter" with his bottle of cider. I thought alcohol was frowned upon.Whispers wrote:God is an Englishman wrote:No I stood quietly and drunk my beer.ʃₐᵇf(x)dx=F(b)-F(a) wrote:Do you heckle? Of course you did

Lol, alcohol in moderation is fine for those that choose to drink; however, there may be a reprimand for that supporter ;)
