I guess that what you get when you arrogant stuck up twats.!
Like Pontins when the 12th man ran him out?
Or was that ok because he's Australian?
Double standards.
Love to dish it out but cry when it's done back. Piss weak.

Some people struggle with the "spirit of the game". To me, the 12th man should be exactly that and he is the sub fielder. I know everyone uses anyone from the waterboy to the local blonde kid these days, but it defeats the purpose to me.

It makes perfect sense to use a specialist fielder as the 12th man.

If he is selected in the 12 man squad, no probs

Teams name 13/14 man squads these days. Touring side normally name a squad for the entire series.

That's odd - usually you scale great lengths to find something, anything, that even remotely resembles such.

Some local journo highlights something, next minute "all of Australia is whingeing........".

Not everyone thinks like those who invented and perfected whingeing.

We're not poms. Although once upon a time the term "whingeing pom" was so common, we shortened it now to just pom given the whingeing part is generally accepted now.

I just assumed you lot calling people whingers was ironic comedy.

So, no hurling of "cheat" towards the Indians who claimed a grassed catch? Oh sorry, it only matters if it happens to a certain other country. :P

Looks like they'll win though. I guess 2-1 loss is an improvement on 4-0.

Cant get worse losing 4-0 away . oh yes unless of course you back to 2005/6 and 2012/13.

Bitterly disappointing to capitulate the way we did yesterday and lose the series based on that.
I've said it before and I'll say it again - Warner is simply a flat-track bully - the whole of Australia praises him when he dominates second-rate attacks in Australia but as soon as he can't bully the bowlers and has to use proper technique to try and score runs he fails miserably.

Hopefully after this series neither Marsh plays test cricket for Australia again and Warner gets the Khawaja treatment for the next series (the latter won't happen)

He is correct, never a catch.

Oh well the Indians are known for cheating, just like the Poms!

Better to lose 2-1 than 4-0 as reported by many "experts"

Makes DRS in its current format a joke. It should be third umpire only (for howlers).

I've said similar. One review for entire innings. Make them truly believe the umpire has screwed up. BUT if it's hitting it's either OUT or under current guidelines, you don't lose a review.

I'd go further and just let the third umpire rule on it whenever he feels the need - even if its just a "wait on mate" to the on field umpire so he can hold up things before the next ball is bowled (or before a batsman leaves field depending on decision).

My issue with that is that it would become like run outs where they're now too frightened to actually make a decision.

An australian captain apologises for his appalling behaviour and bad sportsmanship. It’s a start I suppose.
