As an Arsenal fan i feel bad for Ox (only a little though)
Was just starting to show the kind of form that warranted his big transfer fee.
With all the other purchases LFC have made, and them getting stronger, you worry if he'll just be left behind
But screw LFC!! (gotta deliver a trophy this season with the $$$ theyve spent - anything less is a failure)
This is about the new Emery era. Im excited at what this season will bring.
I'm not delusional to think we'll waltz back into the top 4, but at least this season should bring something different.
And Emille Rowe-Smith looks like a star in the making.

Did anyone really think things would just automatically change? WTF do you expect, especially playing the best team in the league first up?
It took Pep one season and half a billion pounds, until he got it right. Same with Klopp.
Emery got 70M and a under performing squad. Fans/media need patience.

Re: Arsenal 2018/2019
Happy with the performance just not the result we wanted. Should of been 2-5 up at half time, we missed some sitters.
Credit to Emery, like the fact he is happy to make substitutions when required - 1 thing Wenger didnt do well. Xhaka half time - good move and Ozil with 20 to play - another good decision! Not scared to hook a player, no matter their name, when it's warranted.
Ohh well Citeh and Chelski to start the season, got them out the way, now move to some games that we should start getting some pts on the board and confidence in the structure and system to Emery's plan!

Whoever thought Ozil was worth his reported £350k per week was either a closet Spurs fan or needs their head examining.

Don`t you think Guendouzi is a little overrated at this point? I mean, by the fans of the club.
As of right now, looking at him virtually - of course, he is agressive (maybe, too much) without the ball, he tries to pass and be good hidden playmaker with the ball..but in fact, his stats are worse than Torreira`s, even if we compare them based on 90 minutes.
Don`t really understand the hype and was rather shocked to see him in the starting Line-up v. Chelsea on https://777score.com/ last week. Of course, the guy has potential, but for the plans of returning to top-4? Really?

Surprised to see that Arsenal are now prepared to let Aaron Ramsey leave on a free transfer at the end of the season. I guess they're hoping to sell him in January, but why would any club pay a fee when they can wait five months and pay nothing?
Maybe he'll come to Spurs, we love a deal

7 on the bounce after the tuff start. First time we have done that in a while.
Very positve performance from Holding over night, thought he looked good. Little Torriera is a gem! Hard as nail DCM, also good on the ball. Ramsey took the arm band off Cech, but dragged with 25 to play, didnt look happy but it was warranted as it was a poor performance from him. Credit to Emery, cause he aint scared on making big calls and has showed that already this season

I thought Lacazette should have had a pen early on, but after that Watford had most of the chances and probably should have been ahead before the lucky OG. Still looking down on you :wink:haywood djablowme wrote:7 on the bounce after the tuff start. First time we have done that in a while.

The guy wanted a chance to win trophies. He wasnt gonna do that at Spurs.
He came to Arsenal and won titles, cups etc. turned out to be the right decision.
So he should've stayed at Spurs, remain average instead of going to a side that could compete for silverware out of a sense of "loyalty'?.
Who could blame him for wanting to leave?

All he had to say was that he was considering his options.Sol Campbell has given Tottenham Hotspur fans the New Year message they all wanted to hear. The Spurs skipper has ended speculation that he was leaving White Hart Lane at the end of the season on a free transfer by declaring - "I'm going nowhere."
Campbell was free to negotiate with clubs from Monday under the Bosman Ruling and Manchester United were said to be favourites to sign the England defender.
But the 26-year-old continued: "I want to play for Tottenham - that's it. I've been here for so long and there's no reason to think I would want to leave.
"For me to do well at this club would mean everything. I play for Spurs with a passion and desire, and it hurts me when we lose."
