Terrible that the rules allow this to happen.
Jacobs has been replaced by a younger better option.

You'd hope someone (Draper) does it to Bellchambers soon.

Maybe time to dust off the tarps as Port crowds continue to slide down from average of 44.5k in 2014 to 34.5k this season.

Good win for the Pies tonight... led from start to finish, but really the game should have been played in Geelong.

The AFL has no "cogliones" when dealing with Eddie and Collingwood.

Geelong got screwed big time by the AFL by not having a home game. Would have been a very different game.

See Adelaide Oval crowds on the slide by an average of 2,200 this season, Power down by 11% and Crows 1%. While Big Bash were down by 11k per match. SMA looking to increase food and drink prices to compensate for revenue drop.

Not overly fussed but of the 4 teams left, I'm definitely rooting for Richmond

The AFL definitely are hoping for an all victorian final, and could get their wish.

The only upset could be tonight with the cats beating the pies.
Tigers should smash the giants

Bravo, you picked up on it.

Apologies, I think I have had too much red wine...

Cats could beat the tigers, pies to smash the giants.

take a note at the "favouritism" of the umpiring towards the Victorian teams

Well done Richmond.

The cats didn't earn a home berth for last night's game, but I grant you they did for the previous two.

AFL CONSIDERING A CHALLENGE SYSTEM FOR SCORE REVIEWS
The AFL is considering implementing a challenge system in score reviews, where the players would be able to refer unclear decisions rather than the umpires.

The system would be similar to cricket, where players call for a review on a decision and send it up to the third umpire.

AFL CEO Gillon McLachlan confirmed that the league had been discussing this option and whether it could work.

McLachlan told Gerard Whateley earlier this week that the decision could fall to the players.

He said on SEN's Whateley: “Do you put some of the process and responsibility back on the players?

“I do look at cricket and how many reviews you get. So then if you put it back on the player, 'I actually did touch that', and to push it back so to share the responsibility.

“So that's something we've discussed and obviously I don't know if it's got merit or not but it's something that's part of the process piece to put it back on players and clubs.”

Sportsday's Tom Morris explained how the challenge system would work in further detail on Wednesday night.

“The AFL is considering a challenge system in score review, much like what we see in cricket,” Morris said.

“So the players - you’d think in the AFL’s case it would be the captain of the team - having the ability to execute X amount of challenges per quarter or per game, and taking it out of the hands exclusively of the umpires.

“The same applied in cricket. If the umpire wasn’t sure for a while, they’d send it upstairs.”

This discussion comes after the AFL’s Review Centre (ARC) failed to overturn a goal by Collingwood’s Josh Thomas that was touched by GWS utility Lachlan Keeffe in last week’s Preliminary Final.

Seriously, That's why this sport is a laughing stock around the world!
Lets steal all the other sports rules, and incorporate them into ours

Let umpires make a decision on the ground and if turns out to be wrong then so be it.
