The MetroStars family will grow larger in 2020 as the club announces it will enter two teams in next year's South Australian Amateur Soccer League.
MetroStars President Rob Rende first made the announcement at the club's Senior Presentation night.
To support continued growth in demand for senior men’s football, and to provide opportunities to players who wish to play for the club but can’t commit the time required to play in the FFSA senior competitions, we are pleased to offer an alternative option in 2020 and will complement our FFSA teams by attracting additional players and supporters to the club.
MetroStars will enter First Team and Reserves teams in the Sunday Division. Both sides will train and play their home games at T.K. Shutter Reserve.
Steve "Jimmy" Greaves has been announced as the First Team coach, with Detlef Georg as Assistant Coach. Liam Allen will take up the role as Reserves coach.
The club will be holding trials for First Team and Reserves at 6:30pm this Friday 18th October at T.K. Shutter Reserve.

Should start lower than premier league. Div 4 or 5 my guess unless something shonky happens in the meanwhile.

Could it be similar to when Port Pirie entered the SAASLbrushmancity wrote:Should start lower than premier league. Div 4 or 5 my guess unless something shonky happens in the meanwhile.
USC lion move from Sunday div2 to Saturday Div 4 ... Port Pirie take USC spot on Sunday Div 2
If Ghan move from Sunday Div1 to FFSA . could Metrostars take their Div 1 spot

Why should they get to? How unfair is that? Imagine getting to start in Div 1 because of your namebloodypassit wrote:Could it be similar to when Port Pirie entered the SAASLbrushmancity wrote:Should start lower than premier league. Re: MetroStars To Enter Teams In SAASL
when Adelaide Villa moved from Division 1 Sunday ( which is a slightly stronger competition) to Saturday amateurs, they had to work their way up from the bottom division.
