So, is Marnus a cheat or not?Bomber wrote:Ball touching grass. That's all that matters. I know you have "selective" vision, but when it's clear for all to see, you really have lost the argument. Even Root isn't "looking" in that pic
So if Marnus is a cheat, then so is Root. Simple.

I don't think the fielder can ask for a review, it was the batsman and I think he did it initially because he believed the ball did not hit the bat, which was in fact correct
We discussed this the other day. It was based around the Katich/Watson run out in Adelaide.
For me, the fielder merely has to say "I'm not sure it carried". That's his review.

He throws the ball up in the air and runs around celebrating giving high 10's.

Was invited to go Friday, Saturday and Sunday in corporate box.
Happily declined, couldn't think of a worst thing than watching cricket at AO

You do realise you don't really have to watch the cricket to enjoy many hours of food and drinking with friends?Michael wrote:Bomber wrote:No, seeing my mate no longer has the corporate box. Really?
Here I was thinking I had to wear a collared top, closed in shoes and no rips/tears in my pants!
Ps, I don't drink alcohol and they don't serve my preferred liquiq.

I don't recall exact dress standards in corporate box but I don't think it's as strict as members area.
You don't drink booze at all? No wonder you can be a miserable sort sometimes.

Funny, at times past you seem to think we have crossed paths and as such know each other, especially given you know my name. But you choose to hide behind an alias instead. My life is pretty good. I love travel, live by the beach, retiring within a few years and my teams are great. A little nip here and there merely enhances it, it doesn't require it per se.

It was a good innings against a very poor attack. His concentration
and shot selection were outstanding, but he needs to show what he is made of v NZ.

Sorry Bomber, I mean Eddie...
Your correct, I do use a username, but don't you?
I am glad that your life is going well, and I hope and pray that it continues for you, even after retirement.
I have met you once, at a croydon game, was introduced to you many many years ago.
Not that you would remember, I think you had a few too many on that day

Many many years ago. Could you narrow it down a bit, as I haven't had "too many" in many years either. I nudged it last home game this season, but apart from that the barman is often disappointed with my contributions in recent years.
