Yes, I just cooked some bacon and the frying pan is now racist.
Many convicts were British, they then became australians. So it's clearly not apt to call British people convicts when they weren't the ones caught.
So because a media outlet thinks something is OK, it must be OK?

do you think facebook have a good record in determining righteousness and setting a good standard ? i still find it puzzling the way you go on about others that you are offended by the term pomGod is an Englishman wrote: ↑Tue Feb 08, 2022 3:32 pmSo, when did they say it was OK?Just Dave now wrote: ↑Tue Feb 08, 2022 3:19 pmyou said facebook looks at pom being offensive so why you listen to them and not mainstream media who commonly use the term pom ? point being they arent the offence police as everyone sees things differently and not just because you want to play judge and juryGod is an Englishman wrote: ↑Tue Feb 08, 2022 1:36 pmThey moved here permanently and had descendants who lived here for hundreds of years. When did Facebook say it was OK?
I used facebook as one example of a place where they have decided it's racist.

How do I go on about others?
I have previously shown it's a derogatory and racist phrase, why wouldn't I be offended by it?

Well after beating the English for once at something, I guess your morale would be quite high.C U Next Saturday wrote: ↑Fri Feb 11, 2022 10:34 amAussies can take the higher morale ground..... It was the English that came here as prisoners...

Correct, no free settlers. Convicts came & did their " time " and were freed to settle. Here endeth the lesson.
