PECKERS COACH ANNOUNCEMENT

The Elizabeth Grove Soccer Club is delighted to announce the appointment of Dean Lawrence as Senior Men’s First Team Coach for 2023.
Having played for Modbury Soccer Club within the Football South Australia competitions and being involved in the South Australian Amateur Soccer League Inc. for more than 30 years, Dean’s wealth of experience will be vital for sustained success as we enter the SAASL Saturday Division 1 competition for the very first time.
Dean has been a senior coach for the past 9 years, spending time with both Para Hills East and Ingle Farm as Reserves coach, as well more recent stints as first team coach at both Ingle Farm and Rowe Park.
Club President Justin Foster is thrilled to welcome Dean.
“The Peckers are excited to have someone with Dean’s experience and knowledge of the game to lead us in Division 1 in 2023. It was an easy decision for the club once we spoke with Dean, as the plans he wants to put in place and enthusiasm he has for the club are outstanding. We look forward to working with Dean and seeing the club progress to be a Division 1 title challenger.”
Justin also acknowledged the contribution of outgoing coaches, Luke and Beau Singlewood.
“On Behalf of the whole club, we would like to thank both Luke and Beau Singlewood for the great work they did this season in gaining promotion. They informed me near the end of the season that they were not going to continue on as First Team coaches for 2023, which gave us a head start to commence searching for the right candidate. We as a club truly thank them both for that. Their tireless contribution both on and off the field was greatly appreciated and we are very pleased that they will still be involved at Pecker Park moving forward.”
The club would also like to welcome the Lawrence family to Pecker Park, Dean’s wife Victoria and their children Olivia and Aidan.
