I see the Goons are still getting all the VAR calls go their way, even Xhaka hasn't been sent off yet ;-)

Surely in the running for the worst EPL kit for 2022/23.

What do you expect? The Goons have always been the FA & Referees team since the game started.

Jeez, they were lucky against Liverpool, a 50-50 handball not given for a Liverpool penalty, a super soft penalty given for them (even Wrighty didn't think it was a foul) and more woeful defending from TAA. The way we use VAR just has to change, it's completely useless with this 'clear and obvious' BS, it's just too subjective and there's zero consistency. You can guarantee that had Jesus caught Thiago with exactly the same force, no foul would have been given, simply because forwards get away with it. It's a contact game FFS and incidental contact is part of it.

Similar incident this morning to the Jesus one but no penalty given, thankfully this week they at least got the consistency wrong the right way round

 Yeah, I know I love it when it falls our way, but it's still bottle of shiraz wrong.

And how did Saka not get booked for a blatant deliberate handball, it was up there with Thierry Henry's cheating?

Martinelli proved that Southgate is getting one none selection right.

We all win some and lose some with VAR Cyril, it worked in our favour this week. You'll get your rub of the green next week, as your mob seem to get more than most

Football has always been swings and roundabouts and the only reason the better teams appear to get more decisions is because them spend more time in and around the opposing box, so I accept that.

What I can't accept, because it is so easy to fix, is the ridiculous waste of the technology and the inconsistency the 'clear and obvious' wording causes.

Pulsating game @ Elland Road. Arsenal will take that win, despite the controversy at the end.

Hopefully Leeds is gonna cause a lot of trouble for the big teams visiting Yorkshire. Leeds really took it to Arsenal in the second half. They deserve to be higher up the table and will not get relegated.

Fair play to the Goons, they keep on winning, but boy are they riding their luck. Hey ho, a long way to go.

PS. I did think that the Bamford penalty was very harsh, the handball interpretation is bloody daft.

Thank you Liverpool and Salah. You have helped Arsenal open up a gap from ManCity at the top by a game and a half.

ManCity clearly the better side in the first half, Liverpool in the second. However Clippity Klopp did deserve that red card for his incendiary rant.

Watching it live i thought it was a correct decision

Bloody VAR is a nightmare - game started - 1 min in, then delayed for 37mins due to VAR not working / communication with the referees... lucky they got it up and running otherwise we would of lost it 2-1 & a red card 8)

Just watched the Fulham v Villa game, yet another ridiculous decision by Oliver, backed up by VAR. The handball interpretation is so far away from what was intended it's not true. It ruins games.

I'm not a dummy spitter I'm afraid, my support is unwavering and unconditional. United were simply better than us in midfield and consequently ran the game. The deflected goal is just unlucky, that's football, even the Fernandes great strike bounced off a couple before it fell his way.

My mate was at the game and the Fulham fans were singing 'Getting Sacked in the Morning' and the Villa fans were joining in. Didn't bode well.
