Second year running a coach has won three titles, but not given coach of the year. Seems crazy

Hard done by—yes.
Crazy—not really.
Look at who won and where he coaches.

NTC NTC NTC - One would think they're getting their tyres pumped. Imagine if NTC didn't win anything including rising star? What would they say about the program? There are many excellent young players in the WNPL that will never get a gong.

Favourite child syndrome.

Its not the girls involved in the programmes fault though, but do feel that the coaches of the last 2years that won it all probably deserve a gong, but maybe they are happy with their success it will look good on the resume's, there's no real point in the NTC winning titles as where would one put the trophies and banners and pictures, the coach though can add it to his personal shrine.

Who did the Metro coach vote for last year and this year?

Are people forgetting this award is voted for by the other coaches?!

As for coaches with personal shrines, I would say the one who's not won this award and speaks about it on twitter is probably the one who's built his own to weep in lol

Of course, nothing against the NTC team who have really stepped up these past two seasons.

2021 - Salisbury Inter coach wins the treble including first time club wins a major title, not awarded Coach of the Year

2022 - West Adelaide coach wins the treble including first time club wins Premier League title, not awarded Coach of the Year

You can have the best players, but unless as a coach you can make the team gel and make the right calls pre game and during the game, then the best players dont guarantee you the title automatically.
