Have to agree. A bit of a "look at us, give us attention" but soon as any negative publicity "we are going through hell, poor us".
Dave should be grateful he still plays for the Australian team, gets well paid, instead of crying about captaincy and leadership roles. That said, same should apply to Smith

I can see both sides.....I have a mate who played at a reasonable level in England and he assured me that just about every player wouldve known....and if by chance, they didnt, every bowler definitely wouldve.....

I dont think its the attention he wants...its the acknowledgement that given how widespread it was, he shouldnt be the only fall guy...
