Re: EPL 22/23
Justice was seen to be done at the end
Arsenal have been reasonably fortunate this season with injuries and have managed largely to play the same players. That consistency is part of the reason why they're where they are, but I wonder if they are starting to tire, they didn't look quite as energetic and Haaland just bullied Gabriel. Post Christmas (slightly delayed this year because of the WC) is generally when squad strength comes to the fore, have Arsenal got that depth?

It's very simple, you make 2 defensive errors - at any level - & you deserve to get punished! We did that this morning, against arguably the best team in Europe & we got what we deserved.

What do we think about the Goonie scumbags throwing bottles at KDB? Should they be deducted points?
No point making them play behind closed doors, nobody would notice the difference
I did enjoy watching Wrighty and his lad having fun in the studio, until they asked that champagne Dermot for an opinion.

Has Ian Wright commented yet?
Love to hear as he once claimed to be hit by a 50p coin that was never found.
Good Millwall boy though.

The question about point deduction from a supporter of a club, who one of their own recently kicked our goal keeper... always quick to jump on other clubs, never at his own! Most Millwall supporters wouldn't do it. He played for a lot of clubs that go against his Millwall support.thebeautifulgame wrote: ↑Fri Feb 17, 2023 10:07 pmYes, not every Millwall fan has the pleasure of playing for Celtic!God is an Englishman wrote: ↑Fri Feb 17, 2023 4:10 pm

Just how did Sabitzer not go, it's almost like the refs want United to do better so the sale goes through

Re: EPL 22/23
VAR making themselves and the refs look stupid again in the Spurs v Chelsea match. It's incredibly simple technology, but these clowns tie themselves in knots trying to make it work.
FWIW, I think they got it wrong and it should have been a red, but at least it ended up where it should have been from the get go, with Attwell looking at the monitor and making up his own mind. Quite why it took all the piss farting about before he went there I don't get.

Re: EPL 22/23
Arsenal leaving it VERY late to snatch 3 points yesterday.
VERY tight down in the bottom half of the table - 12th-placed Palace and bottom-placed Bournemouth only separated by 6 points!

We all laugh at the rubbish Neville comes out with, but that would have to be one of the strangest games I've seen. Despite going in 1 down, United absolutely bossed the first half, then just collapsed in a heap.
Very funny

Re: EPL 22/23
First half, Liverpool pressed really well, but just having the ball means squat and United could have scored 3 quite easily, whereas Liverpool hardly threatened, then suddenly scored. You don't win games passing the ball around between your defenders and the middle of the park and we all know that goals change games.Victor Meldrew wrote: ↑Mon Mar 06, 2023 10:14 amNice One Cyril wrote: ↑Mon Mar 06, 2023 8:53 am We all laugh at the rubbish Neville comes out with, but that would have to be one of the strangest games I've seen.
