AFL 2023
Former Richmond AFL player and author of a bombshell Hawthorn racism report Phil Egan has been arrested and is expected to be charged with fraud offences. Multiple media outlets report Egan was taken into police custody on Tuesday following an investigation into the management of an Aboriginal organisation in Victoria.

Terrible abreviation, as bad as “footy” instead of football.

I must say that Collingwood FC are off to a good start. After the Joffa saga, along comes some powder sniffing surfie to settle things a little.
I might be old, senile, short sighted and a poor driver but give me some spinach and I'll have you for breakfast!

Looks like the Match Review People haven't a clue (as usual). No consistency.

Re: AFL 2023
If the AFL want to be serious about this issue - all 3 would have gotten 3+ weeks.
But the AFL are pathetic and have no idea what they're doing.
Buddy, who actually hit someone in the head, gets only 1 week whereas 2 blokes who hit the chest (albeit with much greater force) got more weeks.
No issue with suspending people based on intent (or potential injury) but FFS be serious about and be consistent!

I’d post to communicate my joy but I don’t think we have any Powder Puff supporters on here....not any that would admit it.

Nah bugger it...... to beat them in their home game in front of their supporters wearing their spiritual jumper which they whinge about every year while they’re supposed to be a top 4 team that exist to win premierships.......blah blah blah....made me very happy....
PAFC.....get walloped by Collingwood one week and then pretend to be them the next.....

Re: AFL 2023
Last nights showdown was a cracking game which is contrast to most of the games I’ve seen this season. Most of the games a low scoring arm wrestles with a roaming pack of players around the ball .

So Mega, you weren’t watching the 6-goal A-League game on at the same time?MegaBonus wrote: ↑Sun Apr 02, 2023 7:23 am Nah bugger it...... to beat them in their home game in front of their supporters wearing their spiritual jumper which they whinge about every year while they’re supposed to be a top 4 team that exist to win premierships.......blah blah blah....made me very happy....

What about the night before? Were you watching the 5-goal thriller A-League game (WSW v A.U.), or two suburbs of Bleak Town called Collingwood and Richmond do battle in their VFL?
What about this Friday 7th April 4.30pm? Will you be going to Estadio Hindmarsh to watch Adelaide United v Sydney FC, or watching two suburbs of Melbourne (North Melbourne and Carlton) play in their VFL?

In 2024 the AFL are going amend their fixtures so that no matches clash either live or on tv with AU home gamesCooper wrote: ↑Mon Apr 03, 2023 11:01 amFor someone who supposedly doesn't like the AFL your sure are upto date with the fixtures list.Con M wrote: ↑Mon Apr 03, 2023 10:35 amSo Mega, you weren’t watching the 6-goal A-League game on at the same time?MegaBonus wrote: ↑Sun Apr 02, 2023 7:23 am Nah bugger it...... to beat them in their home game in front of their supporters wearing their spiritual jumper which they whinge about every year while they’re supposed to be a top 4 team that exist to win premierships.......blah blah blah....made me very happy....

You meant to write “you’re sure..” but thanks Coops. I do like to keep informed. But yeah, nah - I just asked Mr Google for those fixtures.Cooper wrote: ↑Mon Apr 03, 2023 11:01 amFor someone who supposedly doesn't like the AFL your sure are upto date with the fixtures list.Con M wrote: ↑Mon Apr 03, 2023 10:35 amSo Mega, you weren’t watching the 6-goal A-League game on at the same time?MegaBonus wrote: ↑Sun Apr 02, 2023 7:23 am Nah bugger it...... to beat them in their home game in front of their supporters wearing their spiritual jumper which they whinge about every year while they’re supposed to be a top 4 team that exist to win premierships.......blah blah blah....made me very happy....

ps, you’ll be proud of me - I’ve NEVER been to an AFL (aka VFL) game. The World game is my game.
