German football icon Franz Beckenbauer dies aged 78 great player, manager and educator of the football world.
The older I get the better I was.

What a player! Perfect in the World Cup Final 1974.

Saw him play for New York Cosmos at Olympic Sports Field, Norwood Parade Kensington Park back in yesteryear.

RIP, der Kaiser (the Emperor).
