Correct, should have been a Liverpool penalty for Odegaard's basketball antics. ;-)

Frankly, I'm amazed we're anywhere near the top four with a new coach and the injuries we've had.

My son sent me one of those Twitter memes with a picture of Arteta. Caption read 'Only Arsenal could be top of the league at Christmas and out of the title race by New Year.'

Haywood, you know that ringing in your ears you've been suffering from?

I've worked it out, it's the tills at White Hart Lane
But that stadium is now also acting like a giant cash machine for Tottenham. Premier League football. NFL games. Big name concerts. Sophisticated merchandising outlets and food and drink concessions. Levy must hear the tills ringing every time he wakes up and now we learn the £549m in revenue the club pulled in for the year 2022/23 was the most of any club in London.

Spurs have signed 18 year old Lucas Bergvall from Woop Woop in Sweden. I'm always suspicious of YouTube highlights reels, but he looks bloody brilliant.

In 13 EPL appearances he has scored 2 for us. Richarlison has scored 2 in 37 😂

Comedy of errors game, neither team looked particularly impressive.

Premier League is raining goals this weekend.

Serious question. Why was Maupay's goal not disallowed for offside against Ivan Toney? When Flekken kicked the ball, Toney was at least five yards off, runs back and blocks the defender who would normally have just headed it away. How is that not interfering in play?

Serious answer- Yes, Toney did interfere from an off-side position. However, it looked like the long ball came direct from a goal-kick (only watched highlights and not the game itself). This means that though Toney was in 'an off-side' position and interfered with a defender, there is no offence, much like if the same outcome occurred from a throw-in.

man united could save a lot of dough if they relied on their good academy more, all would play for the shirt plus they have some good locals as well,

Just when you begin to think Ange has got his finger on the pulse, he goes and picks Royal and Davies in the same team.

Every single Spurs fan I know will tell you that one of them is bad, but to put both in at the same time is just suicidal. :clown:

I'd rather see some of the youth players or, if they're not available, a traffic cone.

Why was Davies constantly in front of goals butchering the chances?

Surely not even Southgate can ignore Phil Foden now, has to be a starter in the Euro's given he is the form attacking midfielder in the EPL right now . Worries me that Southgate will turn to his favourites like Phillips and Henderson , whilst leaving Foden as a bit player off the bench.

IMO the England attacking four should like this:

Saka Bellingham Foden

Kane

No spot for Milner? What about Benson and Hedges?
