Worries me that Southgate will turn to his favourites like Phillips and Henderson , whilst leaving Foden as a bit player off the bench.

IMO the England attacking four should like this:

Saka Bellingham Foden

Kane
What about Cole Palmer..?? James Maddison..??

Havertz 'dives' in to save Arsenal's blushes. Weak refereeing saves the Goons again

We haven't seen you for weeks Cyril, now we got top & here you are 😂

Ramsdales blushes more like it, we dominated them, they were only in the game for so long due to his error

Great signing Havertz, to all his knockers :clown:

Great top of the table comp happening in the EPL. Arsenal playing good football beyond what I thought they were capable off. Liverpool even with injuries is still performing.

Long way to go and Arsenal have a well documented history of being chokers ;-)

Absolutely buzzing for Ange's first North London Derby! It's going to be interesting to see how he sets the team up against Spurs. As a Gooner, I'm hopeful we'll see some of that attacking flair he's known for. For those wanting to keep an eye on match stats or need a quick update, https://sportscore.io is a good place to check out. They've got real-time updates and scores which can be pretty handy during matches.

Given that it's a three horse race, my choice would be Liverpool and City first and second, and Arsenal 6th ;-)

I forgot the match was on this moring. Fired up the laptop and saw Chelsea down 2:3 at the 90 minute mark. Screamed out and switched it off. I viewed it later and saw Chelsea had won 4:3 . Cole Palmer for $40m was the bargain of the decade considering the flops Boehly has brought in for $1B.
A win regardless of position over United is always good.

Man Utd v Liverpool on Sunday should be fantastic.

I'm absolutely staggered that City let Palmer go at all, never mind for that money, looks a real prospect and I hope he makes the Euros squad, even with Mr Magoo as coach.

Looking at the remaining fixtures, I just can't see City dropping any more points, whereas Arsenal and Liverpool, although capable of winning them all, have some tough looking fixtures each.

It'll be a tasty NLD this year ;-)

He's entertaining, but a bit naive at this level. In Scotland they don't hurt you, but it's a different story in the Premier League.

Newcastle were clever, all they did was pump it as soon as they won it and Spurs made it easy for them by their back line being on the half way line. No defender wants to be backpedalling, you want to step into the high ball.

Hopefully he can keep his entertaining instincts and learn some more tactical defensive setups.

Strange how the fixtures have worked out. Spurs' next game is the NLD in 9 days time, during which time the Goons play twice, hopefully losing both and picking up red cards and injuries and generally knackering their players ;-)

Nope. Just a lazy FIVE goals against Chelsea. And no injuries.

Any updated thoughts about Havertz?

Nope, he's still bang average, but Chelsea are shite.
