Thanks for putting up the link. I';ve read comments online in the Adelaide website and basically the people commenting have basically said things that are both incorrect (why let the truth get in the way) and disgusting about the Matildas. Is it because of envy? Protecting their patch? or both? For me Soccer will always have the troubled road to travel. The establishment will always protect Aussie Rules and Cricket. even AFLW will be teated far better that women's corner at all grades. AFLW has gotten an arm chair ride whilst A League one struggle for any air play onr coverage. The AFLW product is woeful. Women's soccer at most grades is of a high level.

The establishment works behind closed doors and will do everything (like media articles) to paint a very incorrect and damaging picture of the Matildas. The establishment barely tolerates the A league mend and the Socceroos. Barely.

The fragmented soccer scene in Australia brings joy to the establishment. Soccer clubs don't unite and try and operate their kingdoms with a common good. Once they come together and unite they are powerful. Until then the establishment are watching with careful interest.

Until then we will read and hear negative publicity about the Matildas whilst AFLW gets an arm chair ride for a substandard product. The establishment are doing what it can to restore balance. Whatever that is.
