Is that water polo field :lol:
i read the paper today saying that there's a lot of places in London get affected by the flood .. am wondering if it happeneded to stamford bridge and emirate or not :oops:

that is awesome lol.. dont think it wud happen to chelsea or arsenal that bad cuz they have heating under the pitches..more money

Geez, how time changes things.

Yhe last time I played at that stadium they were in the equivalent of the Conference and it was a ramshackle place with a wooden stand and benches for seating.

Under soil heating would do NOTHING to have stopped that. To get that damage a river must have burst it's banks.

As for the damage, well the whole pitch will obviously have to be relaid. Most other damage should be able to be cleared up with some hard work.

The biggest damage will be that under the grandstand - change-rooms, kit rooms, laundy and administration areas.
