U15 player scored a cracker of a goal at the Saturday morning comp -

he accepted a pass from a teammate by flipping the ball over the defender nudged behind and in one motion turned around and volleyed the ball in top right hand corner of the goal from about 4 - 5 meters out from goal.

Are they any freaky goals that the forumites can recall?

U15's two years ago 'keeper threw the ball out to the striker who held his marker off well and as the ball came over his shoulder volleyed it into top corner, that too made it 5-4 with something like 30 seconds to go !

Set plays are often not appreciated by most spectators though
