Jets 5 Omba Omba 4
very close match jets got off to a good start then omba omba got themselfs back into the match with 2 minutes to go jets got a well worked goal to win the match
rossi boys 2 one more time 0
again a very close match with the score being 0 0 at the the half but rossi boys kicked away with 10 minutes to go to score the win great keeping both the respective keepers kept there teams in the match
On a more sour note 2 out of the 3 games ( one played earlier ) had fights with the benches clearing and the facilities getting wrecked the the rossi boys match was abandoned when a referee was charged by players from one of the teams because he had ( rightly ) sent a player off this resulted in a big brawl on the court with the referees having to break the fight up and also copping some hits in the process.. the fighting continued into the car park
We all need to remember its just a game of sport and some people need to find somewhere else to go and cause trouble. I personally believe the 3 officials done a brilliant job today under very testing circumstances and take my hat of to them.

yes sad to see such stupidity.. embarassing for the nuetral. Rossi boys played a very disciplined game in which they should look to carry form into final. Makin Magic's 5th goal came from a mistake from Omba Omba player gifting young Alex with goal at his mercy so not really well worked.jets wrote:Jets 5 Omba Omba 4

Makin Magic 13 Rossi boys 3
Well, this game was expected and built up to be a very close match. In reality it was as one sided as one sided can be. A send of for rossi boys in the 5th minute for a deliberate last man hand ball didn’t serve them well, the modbury team took a 7 1 lead at the half. The second half started evenly with modbury taking a more defensive style of play like you would expect. There was also a second send off for Rossi Boys with Paul Marino and Steve day going in for a hard fair challenge and in the result after the challenge Marino pushed the modbury player into the crowd he followed the modbury player into the crowd when he was pushed by a modbury player and when he got up swung a forearm and the player. After the send off it really wasn’t a match with modbury dominating play and taking the championship. This team has been together for four years and made the final in each of those years and winning three years and losing one, they sure know how to play futsal!

throwing a punch like that was a cheap shot too. 
Repeat offenders should have their clubs (if they have one) notified.
It is not good enough to say "It's only Futsal" lets their clubs and coaches know what sort of player they can be.
Lets face it when you go a player down in Futsal it is gonna be practically impossible to secure a decent result.
Makin Magic took their foot off the pedal before this incident and afterwards but give a pat on the backs to the Refs too, they have a good idea what they are up and warned both teams before the start of the game about fighting and yet they step into the ring with the same enthusiasm
Definately a different breed.
