Juve on tour with nineteen players

Juve on tour with nineteen players

Juventus set off this morning from Malpensa airport for Hong Kong, to start their tour of Asia and Australia, in which the Bianconeri will play three friendlies.
Ranieri takes along a nineteen-man squad for the matches against South China and Victoria; between the two games, Juve will also play the FIAT Cup with Parma and Shenua. Players not going on tour include the internationals, plus Andrade and Iaquinta, still injured, Belardi, who has measles, and Nedved, who's suffering from an inflammation to his left ankle. Four Youth Team boys were called up to fill out the squad, Fiory, Castiglia, Vecchione and Pasquato, alongside Rossi and Paolucci, on loan from Siena and Atalanta respectively. The Bianconeri are scheduled to arrive in Hong Kong on Wednesday morning at 7.10 am local time (3 am in Italy). The squad will be training already in the afternoon, to prepare the game against South China, scheduled for Thursday at 8.45 pm, 2.45 pm in Italy. The game will be shown live on Sky TV and later on Juventus Channel

Here is the squad list in full:
Goalkeepers: Fiory (Youth Team), Novembre, Vanstrattan
Defenders: Birindelli, Legrottaglie, Molinaro, Rossi (on loan from Siena), Salihamidzic, Stendardo, Zebina
Midfielders: Castiglia (Youth Team), Marchionni, Tiago, Vecchione (Youth Team), Zanetti
Strikers: Palladino, Paolucci (on loan from Atalanta), Pasquato (Youth Team), Trezeguet

Not a bad squad considering the circumstances.
Thanks to Domenech's stupidity we'll get to see the great man himself, David Trezeguet !!!
I can't wait !!!!

Just a shame Nedved won't come. Ah well. I've heard some good things about Pasquato so to see him and some of the other youth players will be interesting.

I fly in on Thursday morning so hopefully the open training session is Thursday afternoon, not a day before!
