Fenerbahce - Arsenal

Post by Fenerbahçe »

Can see a big defeat coming up. :?

Volkan will give away at least 2 goals, so all we gotta do is go all out attack, hopefully he'll prove me wrong.

The King SEMIH will be playing so let's wait and see.

Fenerbahçe v Arsenal

Post by Missing Post Count »

Arsenal played Fenerbahçe in the first round of the Cup Winners Cup in the 1979/80 season, winning 2-0 at Highbury and notching a goalless draw in Istanbul.
The Turkish side have won the last two Champions League home encounters against English teams, against Man Utd (3-0) and Chelsea (2-1).
Cesc Fabregas will face his ex Spain manager under whom he won Euro 08, the Spanish Luis Aragones.
The Turkish side are unbeaten at home in the last six games with five wins and a draw.
Arsenal have kept one clean sheet away from home in the last four games in Europe and conceded eight goals in the process.

hope so but we are missing 3 of our 4 starting defenders. I think Silvestre and Song are good replacements in the middle though

Tough away game for the boys with big outs in defence.
Reckon we wont see Nasri line up & might see Djouro come on if we
are holding on to a slight advantage late on.

Be great to win this one but i'll be happy with a draw IMO especially with there record at home

Come on the Gooners :D

Even though it came against a small european team, it was a good win for Arsenal.

good line up predicition minues Nasri, seemed like the five across the midfield worked a charm.
the key to this game was those 2 early goals, Diaby's goal really killed the game and it become a no contest after that
really good win, very happy with the result

well if you put it that way (hammered at home 5-2) we also lost to Kayserispor 4-1 in our last home game. So not such a good win for Arsenal.

What barbarez??? I cant see any Bosnian sides in CL! or are you a english barbarez fan? u :clown:
