Name them, I'd be interested to know, but if you want credibility you should firstly identify yourself. If feel sorry for RB, to have someone like you represent them on an internet forum.

SAASL no affiliation with FFSA, So the player was registered as a new player not as a transfer which bill bailey said was fine...so we will have to wait till the appeal...

Guess we just have to wait for the appeal process, but just to give you and your club notice, if the appeal is successful, we will also lodge an appeal.

We did not talk crap. We followed the SAASL processes in regards to complaints.

A card check was done, on the day, which can be verified by the officials present.

Forget what Bill Bailey said to you, answer me, in your opinion is it ok to have a registered Federation player, play in the Amateur league?

Giovinco, if it makes you guys feel better go ahead. There's nobody stopping you. But to come on here saying that some vipers guys are 2 faced? You don't make any sense, and frankly you are not doing your club any favours at all. Bad mouthing others can only mean 'problems at home'

as to my outbust maybe it was a little stupid, but put yourself in our seat...We worked hard all year, we wanted to register a player and we werent sure if it was aloud under the circumstances. So we asked and were told by the president of SAASL that it was fine...thats why did ask the question because he was a registered federation player(i do agree with you)...but when we were told otherwise and then we get a letter from SAASL saying we got our points taken away from us...so we were honest with them and got punsihed...and that gets me personally angry when Salisbury lied to SAASL and everyone knows that and got away with it and stole the title from Comets with a illegal player? which did effect everyone...RBE, Comets, Vipers, torrens valley (which this illegal player, played in the B's and RBE B'sa lost the title due to that and came 2nd) then a Tigers player pulls a replica gun on our team with kids as young as 7months old were present, and they also get a slap on the wrist...so understand where i am coming from... do apologise for offensive comments...

We also worked hard all year, and we had plenty of opportunities to get FFSA registered players out to play for us, especially when our title challenge was in the balance. But knowing the rules, we decided against it.

Is this player playing for Red Blue Eagles come round 1 next year? Or will he go back to a registered FFSA club?

One suggestion i have for you, leave your grievances for the committee and don't air your thoughts on a public forum where they can come back and bite you, as they have, and if i were a rep from Salisbury Villa, will continue to for saying they blatantly lied.

Well we were a new club and were to familiar with the rules thats why did ask, but hey didnt work our way did it... ah well...

Doesnt SAASL just piss everyone off? Like i said the president is happy to spend another year in DIV 3 as a learning curve and buliding for the club as we are still new to SAASL...

What about if the RBE gave you nothin to appeal against.What if instead they wore their punishment and asked for all actions that all incidents similar to it that occurred during the year (eg Salisbury Villa) were to be punished aswell then we would get our 3 points that we lost to Villa back and comets would win Championship. That way it wont matter 3rd spot remains the same and 1st and 2nd get changed. Wow what a thought.

It sems that whoever backs the SAASL in the corner seems to get what they want. doesnt it. So it seems that the SAASL has 2 options . 1 Rverse the championship and put up with the full force of Salisbury villa or 2 put up with a new club little complaint . Tough choice.lol.

This to RBE is about principle not the points of that game. RBE are more than happy to stay in Div 3 cause we are in a building phase. So what ever the Outcome its a win win for RBE.who wants to be promoted on default what a joke. But a an example will be made thats for sure. Lucky we have a great president. He calmed down alot of the boys after hearing this, they were red about it. He basically told the Boys and i quote "if you want to be promoted win the title, finish first and then you'll know your the best and there are no questions to be asked." he didnt want a cheap ass ticket into DIv 2. and I quote his words "the best 2 teams finished 1st and 2nd. only 1 or 2 points separated them so thats that. end of story." great meanigful words.

Hey Alm, why do we pay around $16,000 a season? So we can police the competition ourselves? Well i'll tell you what, give the clubs back their 16k and we will all employ someone to do the job. Actually just give us half back and we'll do it. I wonder if Adelaide United have to look after their own? Get a grip man, they take the money to run the competition so either run it properly or shiraz off and we'll run it ourselves.

Yeah couldn't agree more, and both clubs are not handballing the blame. They have openly said , yes a mistake has been made. But was it just the club that made the mistake or does the governing body take some responsibility? You obviously don't have a grip on the rules , perhaps just the parts that you want to see, but read them all. 16k pays for the ffsa to run the competition, so run the thing right. Any business man would be embarrassed if his or her company was run the way ffsa is running football in this State.

I see similairaties between VIPERS and RBE and too prefer to see us both remain in div 3 for 2009.

I'm not too sure what all this talk is about promotion, no one has confirmed that 3rd will go up to Div 2.

As to who wants to be promoted on default what a joke & he didnt want a cheap ass ticket into DIv 2 - it does sound like sour grapes. So if your club was given the option you would've knocked it back? If thats the case, why all this commotion?

Not trying to imply anything, but just in relation to the 1-2-3 finish one of the RBE supporters mentioned above, I don't know if anyone has mentioned this, but IF both RBE and Villa were punished for their ineligible players for ALL the games they played in, I don't think Villa nor RBE would be in the top 3.

But good luck to both clubs in whatever div they play, I know I enjoyed playing against RBE, especially when it got fiery
