Liability is is the modern trend and responsibilty is all but forgotten
Who is the most liable here?
Kid dies > parents sue coach for duty of care
> coach sues governing body for setting standard to regarding temp
> governing body sues advisors for not researching properly
> researcher sues weather man
> weather man sues people of America for being soft
That's just how it works over there

While a tragic accident and an unimaginalble loss for this gridiron football player's family, this is certainly an extreme example- Granted, the US is too litigious, but please don't blanket 300 million people with such labels (that's just how it works are over there...)

Ok, back to the issue. Most sporting organizations in Australia obviously have heat policies, which to my knowledge don't exist in the US. Does this offer the coaching community some protection from litigation? Would an Australian family sue in the unimaginably horrible instance an athlete succmbed to the heat during a training session? Has it ever happened?
