Re: Div 3, Round 7
I think you'll find Germaine Greer is still alive.
But spot on about the so called "equality" wanted by women. I was at a Vale vs Gardens game some years ago and remember a player's mother running down the line and attacking a Gardens supporter for making comments at her son. If a guy did that he would have ended up in hospital, not this "lady" though.

Unless the women are there to cook or serve in the Toilet Seats or look after kids they should stay homeRight Winger wrote:The point isnt about chicks coming to the soccer.
The more the merrier. Especially if theyre hot.
Im all for the glass ceiling and allowing women to wear slacks and all that jazz.
But the 'ladies' cant have it both ways.
You cant act like a sailor, and expect to be treated like a lady.
They bark and squak all game. Thats fine. Its Australia.
But expect it back. C'mon aussie.
The first time you utter something back, no matter how light hearted......
"How dare you, Im a lady!" or they run off to hubby.
Germaine Greer would be turning in her grave.
Any women on the sidelines yelling at players should be banned and sent back to their fathers for an automatic yell down.
As for you Hosovac, You do ridicule people who talk about Div 3 amateurs. Fact is I myself get upset when I lose indoor cricket not to mention playing in the league with the former brothers in unity.
I will always be competitive in this league because we wear the serbian colours. Never lower yourself when wearing your colours my friend.
I know you did not in the bon jovi hair MC days.
I love having a go at you.

Its not going to be the same without you.
I was really forward to nutmegging you.
Now all I have to look forward to is teaching general how to shirt-front someone properly.

Few guys are pumped about it. I think most will just go about their business as usual.Right Winger wrote:Whats it like down Woodville way?

I was only looking forward to the banter... And now I'll just be another loudmouth on the sideline.

I reckon the game is going to be pretty soft. We'll get a strict ref, he'll send off anyone that back-chats or even tries to lay a bad tackle. Mark my words.Zeljko Jurin wrote:You deliberately did it so you would miss the game

As civil as we can be I guess.
Im worried about the crowd.
We have 3 busloads coming from Melbourne and 1 from Whyalla.

Prob in B's this week but hamy playing up.
I will no doubt inject myself with rocket fuel and get through the game.
I will heckle you during the A's
Although there was talk of promoting some beef to tackle the might of the kuzmans size and strength.

Your three bus loads should even up the numbers. We have about 25 guys over and above the players.
And a busload from Coopberprdy and eight montenegrins from Alice springs.
Word of advice dont bring any political slogans and there will be no trouble.
Any slogans and it will only take one nugget to start.
Good hard game and plenty of heckling and it should be a good day
B'' Prediction Beograd 3.2
A's Prediction Beograd 4.2
Right winger to score from 30m and 4 deflections
Yours in sport Lajos Murray

I think when you play the arch rival you cant help but get pumped.Right Winger wrote:Whats it like down Woodville way?

The club is not doing anything special so you may get an extra 20 or so supporters on top of usual.
No oldies care about the amateurs because we only bring in the money and not cost them.
Dont forget for our b's some have not played against Croatia for between 15 to 25 years. It should be good.
You may find that it will played in better spirit than you think. But be prepared to get heckled and payed out.

Have we registered the boat load of imports who arrived last weekend?

Slogans? Such as, please clarify? Your lot considered Makybe Diva's jockey a political slogan.general wrote:

Wonder if the league will be sending out an "independent observer" to over see the days proceedings and behaviour of both clubs on and off the park?general wrote:I think when you play the arch rival you cant help but get pumped.Right Winger wrote:Whats it like down Woodville way?

No...just the Star Force and an armoured bus for our players.6 Million Dinar Man wrote:You tell me. Have you requested one?Hosovac wrote:Wonder if the league will be sending out an "independent observer" to over see the days proceedings and behaviour of both clubs on and off the park?
Got the video camera ready? If there's trouble we could sell it for big $'s to Fairfax & Co. who would then give it plenty of air play on free to air TV to try and discredit Australia's WC bid...the match could have major consequences.
