I haven't criticized the officials. Just stated a fact.

evened itself out with the evra incident
ref stops play for ballacks rips, n doesnt for evras head injury

like in all sports the benefit should go 2 the attackin team which is wat they try n do so we can see more goals

Referees/linesmen should call what they see. If they don't see it, they can't call it.

Rooney's goal was offside marginally.

Ferguson has come out and blamed the refs for losing... maybe he should blame is keeper for coming out flapping for the first goal, and for hesitating on the second one.

Foster is shite, i was saying this last week, and i reckon you'll see this over the next two months. I must be the only one that sees this still, it might take him a few weeks to settle i think, the game is almost too fast for him IMO.

if referees want to know why the respect campaign doesn't work they need look no further than this match, the inconsistency the ref showed when evra was down injured (after a foul that happened right infront of him) by not holding up play after only minutes earlier stopping play when ballack was down and evra was through on the wing was very poor.

Good game I thought, tale of 2 halves really. Both 2nd goals were contentious but evened themselves out. Finally we have won a penalty shootout!!! Bring on next week, can't wait!

Tell me about it, if they don't have a good start, watch him blame it all on Ronaldo not being there.

I dont think he is...
Fact: Rooney was marginally offside
Linesman (without the help of a replay) saw Rooney, incorrectly, in an onside position. Was a very tight call and he has given advantage to the attacker but in the laws of the game he should have been called offside...

benefit of the doubt went to the attacker (for once). this should happen more often.

There's no such thing as benifit of the doubt. He has just called what he's seen (irrespective of whether it is right or wrong). He hasn't seen an offside, and as a result hasn't called it.

well i'm glad you've had a chat to the linesman and he's told you that there was no doubt and he was certain rooney was onside.

I didn't say that at all. All I sad was in reality it was offside. Linesman didn't see it, hence he didn't call it.

With regards to offside they don't signal offside because they think it might have been offside, they'll signafy offside because they were sure it was.
