Not just me but the whole team (we're a team).
Happy to see the B's go top as well as I played a few B games as well.

Adel Cougars 1 Hahndorf 1 (a)
Adel Cougars 5 Hahndorf 0 (b)

A moment of brilliance from Nick Lalli scoring another thunderbolt from 20 odd metres out was the only real positive thing to report on our game today.... would have been a very scrappy, boring game to watch from the sidelines. Both sides, on their performance today would get smashed in div 2. So, I say, we dont deserve to go up.... better pull our fingers out of our coulo's if we want to hold on to second place :x

PS- Saw Mehorf's nose tonight.... he's a machine.... and he wont be missing any games for the mighty Adelaide Villa... seen him run through brick walls, just a scratch.

Division 2
Salisbury Villa v FC Adelaide 4-1 (0-3) - FCA Bs go top, equal with us, but ahead on GD
Comets v OISC 3-0 (0-4) - hard game for our As, will write more later.

Division 4
OISC (2) v Strathalbyn 2-0 (2-1)
Pumas v ACU Falcons 4-1 (4-0)
Murray Bridge v Torrens Valley 3-1

Division 6
Salisbury Villa v FC Adelaide 0-2 - Bodo celebrates a championship.
Flinders v OISC 0-5

PS The Comets marshall, I didn't catch your name! But clearly, according to all who observed, Hulk Hogan was at fault for every OISC goal in the Bs

(I was paid to say that!)
Result was 2-1 in our A's game.

(However a small side note - it's your second successive promotion, not third. In 2007, the E.A Patriots only had one team, which is why they were in the C division).
Have to say thanks for your first comment.

As for your sidenote, typical of you focusing on negatives, why not say "its not Div 1, its now Premier Div".

Budapest 0 Southern Breakers 1 (4-4)
Not a pretty game to watch, both teams didn't really play that well.
We scored with about 10 minutes to go when our player was brought down in the box by the keeper who then got sent off, leaving the Budapest supporters and Officials abusing the ref right up until he left the ground.
Overall we were happy with the win but I can't say we deserved more than a point the way we played.
Congratulation to their reserves for their first point of the season, we were 4-2 up with 15 minutes to go and let them score 2 more to equalize, also still good to see their old player getting a run towards the end. This has been our story all season, we have played good first halves but let ourselves down in the second half.

But it's fact? Vipers were promoted from Division 3 to Division 1 in two years. Congratulations.

How funny football is, after beating Iggies the Villa reserves took a massive step towards a title.

Now - 2 games later - they don't look capable of winning it.

Saying that, it will be a tough run home for the title as I always believed Iggies B's to be Villa's biggest rivals and the best side they'd played. However, yesterday FCAdelaide looked very, very sharp in the little spell I saw and controlled the game well. Navarino obviously very much involved too - down to the wire, should be interesting.

Ah well, so the Div2 A's title is finally, mathematically down to 2 teams. One point for Villa in next week's trip to Southern Breakers is enough for the 2nd promotion spot. The title-hunt is not yet over.

Game finished 3-1, finally there was a bit of fight from the boys today. Game was played in good spirits. Every one always gets on here about how bad the ref's are but A's ref was excellent, didnt make a wrong call all game. I dont think there was even a card given out (which is a first for a gleeson v modbury game) both clubs linesman were good also.

I agree. The game was played in goods spirits and the ref would have to be the best I have seen all year.

That would be John Mc and yes, he is one of the best officials and yet there are some punters on this forum who would want you to believe that he is a cheat!
