Ah yes I remember, that defender was only 15.

I was marking Jai first half then in the second I was more or less on whoever was near me since there were so many of you.

I got hacked against Bridge last week and wouldnt have played you boys if we had more than 12 fit players...

Incase you havnt figured me out yet I was #11 the captain and we'll at least try to do Iggies so it is a "grand final" on the final day....

Big game up the bridge this week... Pumas first team can seal the championship this weekend with a win!.

Pumas reserves also needing a win to force a championship decider on the last week of games against OISC!

Both teams have caused a little rivalry since the start of the year. It provides some atmosphere to the game, which shall be a good hard game.

Great conditions expected for the game (windy and wet) but maybe it's just because I'm English that I think that!

Will be a big game.. Didn't we get 3 points in the first game here at the bridge???

If it's the penalty in the A grade we are talking about then there was no doubt it was a foul..I had the knee brace for 6 weeks to prove it! Can't recall the B grade game to be honest ..

It does seem that today's result will be important..looking forward to a good game.

I think I am going to be in goal for the reserves which won't be fun! but needs must...

I believe the Falcons contacted SAASL while we were there and were told it would be on wednesday. Mark technically agreed but it was left that they should contact yourself to confirm details.

I was suprised to see it put on here as official, because surely we need to ensure player availability. eg. I am never available on Wednesdays.

I don't think we'd have a problem with it on Wednesday, but will the pitch recover by then if the forecast rain continues?

Results Rd 19, 29 August 2009

Murray Bridge v Pumas 1-1 (3-3)
ACU Falcons v OISC pp
Strathalbyn v Simba of Congo ?? (??)
Torrens Valley v Adelaide Uni (3) ??

Won't bother updating the table until other results are available. If Simba didn't win, then Pumas wrap up the A grade title. If Simba did win, Pumas will win it next week against Torrens Valley. Also, a Simba win means it is unlikely for ACU or Bridge to catch them. HOWEVER, if Gleeson fold, SA Bullets get booted etc etc etc then the 3rd/4th spots in this league are very important!

In the Reserves, Pumas draw handed the ascendancy to OISC. It's their title to lose now.

with the results as they are from yesterday without knowing the simba result that means that murray bridge are only 2 points behind them and theyhave to play each other in 2 weeks so Murray bridge could still finish second if they win that game

I may be miscalculating but I don't think a Simba win will tie up 2nd for them.. we (Bridge) may be 5 points behind BUT we have a game in hand (torrens Valley) PLUS we play simba.. I make it that if we win our last 3 games we finish second....have i messed up the sums?

If Simba lost yesterday its all over for 1st.

For 2nd, ACU need to keep winning and hope Bridge drop either Iggies and/or Congo or God forbid, Torrens Valley.....Same vise versa for Bridge v Iggies/Congo games...

I believe Congo will take 2nd if they won yesterday then beat ACU next week and Bridge dont beat Iggies, and yes Flud as long as you keep winning you'll go 2nd thanks to the draw with Pumas...

You make it sound like your unavailability is a bad thing.

It will probably improve the spectacle.

ACU Falcons v OISC (2) will be played at Grange on Wednesday night at 7:30pm (first team only).

In the end the concerns held by both clubs about the ground at Fulham were confirmed by the match referee.

Well as of Saturday my understanding was a replay on Wednesday night at Fulham and Claude spent all Sunday trying to reach you but couldnt, hence was done through Mark.

Apologies for any confusion

In addition we just got an email confirming the changes from what we were told on Saturday

I'm sorry but that makes no sense.

You couldn't get hold of Kitchimo on sunday, so you arranged through Mark on saturday. :?

Well after you guys left on Saturday we had a meeting where the team was told there was a game on Wednesday night set in stone.

Then I get a call from Claude on Sunday saying he needs to confirm some stuff with James but couldnt get through to him so tried Mark instead.
