Prrof that football has become sanitized

Post by Hawkesy »

If they find him, he will be banned for wearing a football shirt to football.

While I disagree with wearing a football shirt to a game, this is just a great wind up

Hopefully, they won't find him. I know him as well!

The News of the World have started a campaign to find the bloke in the galatasaray shirt, he wore it at Millwall v leeds at the weekend. It has been announced he will be banned for life if they found him.

Another guy has been banned for bringing a Turkey flag into the ground as well.

It shows the game has been so sanitized, it's becoming boring.

See Haweksy isnt only a chardonnay he is also a Milwall supporter.

If I am not mistaken Milwall played Leeds on the weekend and this football supporter is wearing a Galatasaray shirt to get up the noses of the Leeds supporters becuase if you remember Leeds supporters were stabbed to death in Instanbul a few years back.

I am glad you find the killing of opposition supporters funny.

the're just hate mongers and its got nothing to do with sanitising football (which is played on the pitch - not pitch battles)

and getting 9-year olds to wave a turkish flag is just brainwashing another generation of thick twats.

I don't know if the club is but the fans are, while conveniently forgetting the munich songs they sing and the bloke kicked out for a ferencvaros flag.

I've not seen a single picture of a 9 year old waving the flag. Can you post it on here, because I think you're talking cabernet.

TTF (taking it too far) a bit from both perspectives.

However, just goes to show the CLASS of these types of people.
Ive seen some brutal beatings fans vs fan(s) in Greece. But when it comes to respect from the dead, strictly off limits....

that is a disgrace
not only from the millwall idiot, but from any supporter of any club that would incite violence and show disrespect to someone who has been killed
it is also a disgrace that some of you find this funny

That's a fair point but it;s quite funny for leeds fans to be offended by it when they have sung about munich.

Similar to the liverpool fans complaining when we sung about hillsborough.

If you don't like the heat, get out of the Toilet Seats.

Leeds - munich, budapest, Matt Busby (chanting one Don Revie through his minute silence)
liverpool - munich, Matt Busby
man u - hillsborough, Bull Shankly

All clubs do it, it's part of the game and the reason the minutes applause was brought in rather than the silence. It's just some get all upset when it comes back at them.

Normally speaking only northern numpties, premier league fans or kids wear them though. I dont think you should wear them as they lack class and style but banning people for doing it is a bit extreme.

Leeds supporters one booed over a tribute to those than died in the München Air disaster. If they're prepared to give it oult they should be prepared to take it back.

How about some condolences for Brice who was bashed to death a few weeks back.

I witnessed back in 94, Worcester Cricket Fans take on Millwall fans in the Pride of Paddington Pub in London.Bearing in mind that the Cricket fans were there to watch cricket (Natwest Final Rained off from 11am) & not fight thick people. Millwall had played at Reading that day & came in to make the day even worse. After abusing & pushing a poor woman at the bar it unfortunately all went off.
I have to say though Cricket won that day..The Millwall ran away
