Cub Pack dodged a bullet last week by meeting a depleted 10 Schooner Club - should be back to full strength this week :D

had a look last night, and my eye was caught by the exceptionaly athletic looking fellas wearing pink and green. not only can they drink copious amounts of alcohol in a short space of time, they can also play a bit as well.

Being my last preso night as preso I will endevour to get a shirt that you can do an hour of material on. Try as I might my shirts never seem to outshine old redback and his boiled lolly collection.

a good win for the poons last night. a cameo by haywood djablowme with a spanking volley capped it of. old redback with a few cracking saves in there as well, 2 generations of steedy and motts amongst the 10 schooner club with the younger ones definetly showing the old boys up! does anyone know what the prize money is going to be yet? all teams should have paid by now!

Thanks GG you younger blokes certainly showed who was fitter in the heat at the end and it was a good game. Good luck for the rest of the comp. It is great to see our younger generations play but don't know if Bert and I will still be playing when our two lads make this illustrious team!

Any news on the fixtures for this Friday Rexie? Lineker needs to shape his rigourous training program around the times.........

Congrats on another player making the cut too and commisserations to the Cub Pack boys who again couldn't cut the mustard!

last weeks results were

Garfield and Friends 6 beat the Units 1
The Demons 6 beat Talking Heads 0
Tasty Poons 6 beat 10 Schooner club 0
U wont 5 beat Wolfpac 2

Tonight is a mini cup comp and draw will be done at 6.30
All fees must be paid to play in comp.

Believe or not I held the 10 schooner record for approx 15 mins until Old Fartback beat me by a few seconds. Mind you I had 2 smokes in between and was unaided in any way including backrubs or bellyrubs.   Bring on easter and my revenge will be sweet. I do however still hold the Byron Bay !0 schooner club record and doubt I will ever lose that title.

Last night of the Downs 7s tonight with the finals and cash up for grabs. In the main event there are some great games in store and some great talent on show and this talent will be matched and bettered by some of the bottom 4 teams prowess in the club rooms after the games. Good luck to all for a great night and merry Xmas to all the competitors and their families.
