No country who has never qualified for the world cup should be allowed to host it at the expense of one who has.

The Rosemont, sounds good, was also thinking The HWY inn, if they have the commentary on, dont want to here a dj, whilst the game is on.

Oh, what a sense of patriotic soccer-football community, not!
I begged Chris Mcdermott to organize a big-screen fanzone in Hindmarsh Square outside Cornesy HQ 5AAAAA, but he didn't want to know...
Wot's wrong with undercover under the western grandstand roof in midwinter @ Estadio Hindmarsh? With the big screen located in centre-pitch facing that western grandstand.
It would almost be our pissant villaggio's equivalent of Bleak City's (Melbourne) Federation Square, or Sin City's (Syd e rney) Darling Harbour..

That's like saying the Walkabout chain in England is Australian.
Re: Best Adelaide venues to watch Socceroos world cup games?
But Lopperman, McDermott did get the ball rolling to get the big screen up @ Adel. Oval in 2006 for the OZ v. Italia game.
Agreed this time he's not interested. Probably 'cause all the red tape SACA threw at him that time.
Anyhow, as others have said, the Germany and Serbia games are at 4am midwinter.
The only slim chance is to go for a fanzone big-screen somewhere for the 11.30pm Ghana match. I hope as a soccer-football community we manage at least this so we don't get shown up by Melbourne and Sydney as a villagio back-water (again).
