Re: Group A: France v Mexico
haha well done mexico
looks like having domenech as a coach has cost france a spot in the knockout stages, it looks like the french dont want to play with him
chasing the game and he leaves Gingac up front on his own, took anelka off at half time and henry sitting on the bench, with the group of individuals he has at his exposal this team should be going far in this tournament
i guess it shows without a talisman like Zidane, the french lack leadership (evra is not inspiring), even Ribery looks selfish
kudos to the mexicans

If Mexico and Uruguay can manufacture a draw on Wednesday then the cheese eating surrender monkies can pack their bags. Would anyone, other than frogs, be upset given the treachery shown in their last qualification game?

I was thinking same. Probably short odds on a 0-0 draw in that one.Mr Magoo wrote:If Mexico and Uruguay can manufacture a draw on Wednesday then the cheese eating surrender monkies can pack their bags. You could safely put a good couple of hundred on that.Bomber wrote:I was thinking same. All together now to the tune of- "When Irish eyes are smiling..."
Wot a lethargic French display. Wot energy by the Mexicans. Hope our Aussies copy that.
ps, forumites - did any of you notice people in the crowd are drinking from bottles ?
we're not even allowed to have less dangerous unbreakable cans @ Estadio Hindmarsh and have to queue for ages for a plastic cup. I'm just surprised FIFA allowed it

"The game is about glory, doing things in style and with a flourish, going out and beating the other lot, not waiting for them to die of boredom."

You guys are getting ahead of yourselves.
How often have France found themselves in this position only to make it out with flying colours.

you all condemn him, but if you were in the same position, there is no way you would tell the referee
Re: Group A: France v Mexico
He cheated by deliberately palming the ball to keep it in play you blind grenache. Have another look at it! Are you trying to say that all players would handle the ball like that if they thought they could get away with it? It'd be a sorry game if that was the case.Chelsea4thewin wrote:look at all you haters

Mr Magoo has never been well known for his observancy so we'll let it slide.
