Rooney should have kept his mouth shut. I stated that he should be captain because of the passion he shows but in the last 2 games clearly he went to SA to go on safari and can't be bothered to play football. Those fans have every right and are completely justified in boo'ing them off the pitch. They drew with america and algeria for fucks sake. People have spent years saving to watch this and look at the cabernet that has been served up.

That said, we only have to win our next game and we're in the next round. Bottom line, if we win our next 5 games we win the world cup. We haven't lost yet, we've been pony but are still there.

So many teams you could say things like this about though.

france showed typicall gallic flair by surrendering
italy drawing with nz
spain losing to switzerland
germany losing to serbia
Things I am owed because they're too tight to pay up:

Costa: One Lunch

Oh and add in

Colossus: one photo and one letter from his "attorney".

You obviously haven't been paying attention to the French situation for the last few years then. :P

it's not turning against them, it's showing them that we are not happy. People have paid a lot of money to get there, time of work etc. and they are prancing around without any passion.

Capello has lost the changing room, interviews with Terry and James has clearly shown that. What has happened to the Capello from qualifying? Where has he gone? He needs to sort something seriously out before wednesday afternoon.

I still believe, we will go through.

Surely, I wouldn't place England vs Algeria game in the same line like Germany vs Serbia or Spain vs Swiss. There was a lot of passion in those games, teams were trying to do their best. And England? Walking around the pitch, terrified to do anything with the ball, just passing to the nearest team mate to let him do something with the ball, so no responsibility on 'me'.

Still, believe England will go thru, and they can find some of the spirit they have showed as a team in qualifiers.
