In hindsight the that wasn't for England may not seem to matter....but it might have been a turning point...but.... "what ifs" don't win you games !

Haha this is brilliant to watch. So much for this "golden generation", with its numerous quarter final exits, rubbish performances and failing to qualify for a tournament.

U can't blame cappello for the pathetic display from the defence and midfielders
Only Rooney, James and defoe looked like they wanted to play

Some people are on the pitch, they think it's all over. No hang on...that'll be England.

Your having a laugh about Rooney....

James was part reason for the first goal. None of them look like they want it.
Tommy: We've lost Gorgeous George.

Brick Top: Well, where'd you lose him? He ain't a set of fucking car keys now, is he? And it ain't as if he's incon-fucking-spicuous now, is it?

I just found this on the net...please forward on to the team:

Marking:
guarding a player to prevent him from advancing the ball towards the net, making an easy pass or getting the ball from a teammate.

Did anyone actually believe England could win this match after their poor group games?

I'm glad Rooney had a nice vacation, now he can be 100% for Man Utd.

Barry & Terry how overrated are these 2?
They make Craig Moore look like an Olympic sprinter!

Honestly my Granny is faster than both of them.

Only one bloke to blame and that's the boring, negative, defensive, Italian coach.

Got us to the WC but never looked like a decent team that could play good football. Bring back Venables and let the players play (the FA should turn a blind eye to the brown envelopes).

Interesting to see if Lampard gets as much stick today as he normally does in the aftermath of England games.

Best and worst of him last night tbh. At the heart of much of Englands good work going forward - scored a goal (sortof), hit the crossbar, decent passes forward for a change. But, same old lack of marking and can't make a tackle to save his bollocks.

Best Team Won....GERMANY
England overatred.....Makes the Aussie loss look ok.
Sack that Italian coach , proved to be useless when it mattered. Lead England to a huge loss.
