Last day of the transfer window

Post by ruud »

This is the time when clubs make panic buys and will offer larger bids to get their targets.

Who will move clubs today?

First prediction: Huntelaar to Schalke

Schwarzer to arsenal?

No word on whether they will be signing David 'working my way around Lancashire' Nugent from Portsmouth.

Kilmarnock have signed Alexei Eremenko on loan until the end of the year from Ukraine club Metalist Kharkiv. The 27-year-old Finnish international is an attacking midfielder who can play a number of roles. The Rugby Park manager Mixu Paatelainen has used his contacts in his homeland to land Eremenko, who has scored 13 goals in 44 appearances for Finland.

just read this
On the subject of rumours - and that is what we are dealing at the top level at the moment - what about Liverpool signing Fernando Llorente? A member of Spain's World Cup squad and, at 6 ft 5 in, surely up to the job of getting involved in the Premier League.
could be interesting

Japan midfielder Yuki Abe has joined Leicester City from Urawa Red Diamonds. The 28-year-old has been capped 49 times by Japan and his switch came after he was granted a work permit.

Seriously for the prices being rumoured for Babel, hurry that helicopter up. I'd piggyback him from Liverpool to London if it meant he cleared off.

Not the ideal striker, but I'm not one to judge until I've seen how they do for us. Could turn out to be very handy. Would much rather Ruiz or Gomez though.

And seriously, shiraz the 9 million pounds, they can have him for a carton of Superdry. One each for the lads at Melwood.
