Liverpool face £1bn court battle
Liverpool's new owners are facing the prospect of a £1 billion courtroom battle, according to this morning's papers.
The Times reports that former Reds owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett are to press ahead with the colossal lawsuit they threatened during the takeover saga, despite wide expectation that - having eventually lost control of the Anfield club - they might cut their losses and walk away.
Lawyers for the duo have now taken the first legal step - applying to 'discharge the injunction', apparently - and will be back in the High Court in February.

Bit hypocritical don't you think? Hell, any post even remotely related to Liverpool will be responded to by yourself with at least four lol smilies.

Col's still looking for him so perhaps G&H would be kind enough to forward his phone number.

But we aren't in (significant) debt though.
We owe 37m which only exists as a facility for the new stadium planning (which will be capitalised as part of the project when it happens).
Man U owes in excess of 1bn
These are nothing but hail mary desperate actions from two desperate greedy little knobs.

Re: Liverpool face £1bn court battle
The reality is that neither club is in debt from it's own actions.
The debts of both are entirely down to the owners using them as a tax and debt dodge.
Both clubs actually are very profitable on their own.
