Re: Liverpool confirm Torres deal
Torres , Torres,
He's the best,
Staying in Liverpool,
He's such a waste
Leaving The Kop,
Joining the Blue,
Hope he will flop,
WOo hoo Woo hooo
I can see Chelski give us a real content next season
He's the best,
Staying in Liverpool,
He's such a waste
Leaving The Kop,

Hahaha since when does a massive club have no European trophies ;)

Re: Liverpool confirm Torres deal
I actually think there is a lot of similiarity between torres and owen and that they both had the same leg injuries at this stage of their careers and torres is no longer as fast as he used to be.
Good bit of business i reckon yes a little to much for carrol but hes english and that happens.
liverpool under dalglish have handled the transfers a lot better than under benitez when we seemed to cave in and sell at the lower end of the scale.

I look at the great Liverpool Team. I think they won about eight League
Championships, and four European Cups. Compared to them I have done nothing

Liverpool smacking of desperation and clinging to their "history" excuse is nothing new - been doing it for twenty years. Adam and the Ants were big when they were.

Sorry sir. We'll just forget all about it. History means nothing.OldRedback wrote:Liverpool smacking of desperation and clinging to their "history" excuse is nothing new - been doing it for twenty years. Adam and the Ants were big when they were.
shiraz off Chelsea FC,
You've got no history,
5 European Cups and 18 Leagues,
That's what we call history.

Re: Liverpool confirm Torres deal
Trophies are in ancient history for Liverpool - 20 years is a long time and you know it - too long in fact and in your heart of hearts it hurts deeply. By all means keep yourself happy and console yourself with the history argument but remember that your history couldn't keep your prized assett and you remain and under achieving club with a once proud history - just like Blackburn, Bolton, The Wanderers, Royal Engineers, Melchester Rovers and Jossy's Giants.

I thought Liverpool won the UCL 5 years ago... and the FA Cup 4 years ago?OldRedback wrote:Trophies are in ancient history for Liverpool - 20 years is a long time and you know it - too long in fact and in your heart of hearts it hurts deeply. Re: Liverpool confirm Torres deal
i think you are all scared of what we will be doing the next few years
maybe we left this year too late but when torres gels in the team, not sure if we will change to a more 4-4-2 formation to fit him with Drogba we will be hard to stop in england and europe
