Musical Instruments

Post by swannsong »

My first musical instrument was a Stylophone.
Then an acoustic guitar my Dad brought home from work (the action was so high you could slice cheese on it!)
Then a Sakai electric guitar and 20watt amp with tremelo....

That's nice.
The answer is 42. So now what's the question?

I had a keyboard but swapped it for a motorbike cover/protector.
Always wished I could play guitar but never pursued it.
I also wish football supporters would leave musical instruments at home, especially drums, horns and trumpets. Use your voice instead!

I experienced a dose of it on Sunday v Pontians although to be fair, he rarely honked it.

Grew up learning piano and have a shoddy, old electronic keyboard at home. Doubt I could play much anymore, since it's been so long since I even touched a key on either instrument. Was actually thinking about it this morning; might have to pick it up again and see how I go.

Hi,
I also had a keyboard, but have traded guard against a motorcycle. Always wanted to I could play the guitar, but never exercised.

Currently I use a Roland RD300-sx (keyboard) at my gigs, usually with the aid of random effects pedals I borrow off guitarists to add the sound range.

Also I dabble in a bit of guitar and even occasionally play a mandolin for a certain song my band plays

I love playing guitar. I have played for 3 years.
I often listen to guitar songs when I'm free

I play the shakuhachi flute now. I can also play the oboe, violin, piano, tin whistle, Irish flute and recorder. I played the oboe, violin, flute, tin whistle and piano since I was a child. I used to play in youth orchestras and a bit and the early music ensemble. I started the Irish flute and shakuhachi 5 years ago. I play the shakuhachi flute with a group here and now. We have about 8 players shakuhachi, koto about 12 players 3 players and a drummer shamisen. It's fun! I want to learn classical guitar one day.
