SAASL Premier League Preview

Interesting read to say the least, should be a great season for all involved but I'm not sure about the predictions... :?

i like it....not sure who did the predictions though King Brown Macnuggets will not be impressed

Downs obviously talked themself up more than others

Lefty keep pumping up our brand your doing a cracking job, looks like we will have to sack the promotions manager and save ourselves 2 cartons. You can join Mcnuggets and now be know as his off sider Mcflurry..cue relevant pictures please vino

You have got to honestly ask why the Downs are favorites? I understand they have signed Nathan and he is great pick up, Motts is back at the healm BUT Parafield Gardens won everything last year have lost Freddy but picked up Stevey J and a couple of others, They won the Chiconowski after being 2 nil down. People may say im biased as I played for Gardens BUT its not that at all I just think Gardens will be the team to beat again this year. I think the Downs will be a much better side than last year and will be there main rival.

It made for interesting reading and I think its great that The Amateur League gets some publicity in the local paper.

It is going to be a cracking year and good luck to all teams involved!

What you talking about lippy? I'm quite happy that the Downs are short odd favourites to win the League...

I agree. all (ahem) banter aside, after what gardens achieved last year they are defo the team to beat.

I thought there were two SAASL Premier Leagues, but only one was previewed???

I think you will find that the journo asked the people he interviewed who that thought would win the league outside of their own team and that's where is predictions came from.
