ALL games will be close this week end.... some good match ups. Hanhdorf hard to beat up there, Comets will be really tested for the first time this year, Lion only because the Breakers are away from Port Elliot, Having played both Hawks and Titans think the Hawks are an awesome outfit and if all players stay fit will be very hard to beat this year while Titans could spring a suprise if the Hawks are not on their toes, Cougars of course- even against Barcelona I would pick the Cougars..... Uni vs. Comets - Need to bounce back after last weeks lost.
Lion vs. Breakers - Can't see Breakers winning away from home.
Hawks vs. Titans - Two solid teams that should be fighting for promotion this year, expect a close one.
Cougars vs. Budapest - Budapest showed some improvement last week but I still see Cougars getting up in a close one.

Lion vs. Breakers - Lion to break their Div 2 duck. Is this the year that Breakers finally crack and go down? Have been experts at surviving, never been in Div 3.
Hawks vs. Titans - by a couple.
Cougars vs. Budapest - Draw - I really got NFI on this one because 5cougarsthanx suggests that all the Cougars old boys have gone into their Cs.

Also, clubs playing the Uni Div 2 side, please note that we have changed grounds and now play home games on the other side of Frome Rd, at the Grads Oval.

This gives us easier access to changerooms, etc. and will hopefully improve the comfort levels for all concerned. It's much easier playing there, than lugging our matchday setup across the road every Saturday.

Great addition to your side, thought he was the difference on the weekend, I certainly couldn't get any passed him :? Had a good chat to him after the game as well, seems like a great lad to have around the club.

Budapest were up 2-1 and with the better of the play last week with less than 5min to go . Hahndorf to their credit put two goals within about 2mins to win the game

Definitely the keeper is night and day in terms of your keeper from last year.

I must say that I am very impressed with the steel and resolve shown by Vipers against us last weekend. Last year in Div 1 they were a decent enough ball playing side but they really lacked that will to win that was necessary to stay up. This year they have compromised their ball playing a bit but they are very hard at it and are a much tougher opponent for it.

There seems to be a good feeling around the club this year so hopefully that leads to guys playing for their
mate on the pitch.....last year was very much a learning year at Viperville.

There is a long way to go this season and every team will be tough to play against.
