Cracking game between Toros and Knights

One of the best games ive seen this year in either premier or state league.

Both coaches have done very good jobs with their teams.
Some fantastic young players in both sides.

Prems: City V Sturt : 2 nil to city. nil all for the first half, good first goal by city then Sturt player taken down in the box going for goal - no penalty. Same tackle in the turnover to a city player - penalty given and goal scored.
Great game - Could have been a one all draw- ah well thats how it goes.
Good plays from all the girls on the day.

I heard A.City had heaps of chances and could have easily won by 5 goals.
A bit of a surprise to read that it could have been 1 all...but not saying it's not true, just curious.

Well it's always nice to hear things but - Both teams had their chances - was not a one way street as an observer of the game. As mentioned a Sturt player was taken out in the box, then virtually same tackle given in the turnover to a City penalty. If given to Sturt it COULD have been a 1 all result, if of course it hit the back of the net. Both tackles in the box, both seemed the same to the observer, one penalty given.
As mentioned both teams had their chances - not the walkover City would be portraying.
Great game ladies.

LOL funny you say this because the one who made those comments is not from AC!
Why should it be a "walkover" anyway? 2-0 is a fair result...not a trashing.
I was just asking about the game, because as I said someone who was there said AC had like 6 or 7 clear chances and a player taken off maybe with a broken ankle...so I thought there was something interesting to hear.
Sorry for being interested. :?
PS-good luck to the girl for a quick recovery, hope she's alright.

Any report on the Metro-Cumby game?
This was really the match of the round, with Cumby desperate for points and Metro in excellent form.
What happened there?

I had a look at 2nd half of City vs Sturt.

Sturt also had chances and could of come away with a win... very even game from what I saw.
