You need to do your homework......U16A not yet decided. Adelaide City need 1 point from last game to wrap it up. PH need to win last two games and for AC to lose.

Spooky
Can you show me where in the JPL competition rules it says the team finishing first or second in a lower grade will be promoted for the following year?

You are right Muts, just because it is the normal situation, doesn't make it rule, is there a section that states they do not?

2009 ABE U14 finished second in the Bs, U15A for the following year cut from 12 to 10 teams, only top team from the Bs went up.

Are you suggesting Croydon will be shafted their 'possible' spot into the As for CCSC who finished 2nd bottom? That post will be active indeed.

Does anyone know how many teams are going to be in U14A next year?
Hopefully not 11 like this year (incl skilleroos) with a bye every week.

I heard 11.

Skillaroos to play all their games on a Wednesday night.
Skillaroos will not play for points.
No need for a bye.
10 teams will play as if there is 10 teams.
One side each week getting a midweek game, under lights at Burton.

Not sure of the truth in all these whispers.

Players are still trialling for clubs as they will not find out on selection until November, which makes it hard on a club who may have 2-4 players in, or not in their squads.

What does a club do, select extra players, then in November they cut 2-3 players because their possible skillaroo players miss selection?

There are numerous scenarios for how this impacts players and clubs, both in trials and in the next season.

To be fair to all:
1. Clubs should have to nominate JPL first teams to FFSA
2. FFSA decide the JPL make-up
3. Clubs trial for positions in those JPL teams
4. JPL Player fees are paid
5. Clubs nominate JSL teams
6. FFSA draft a make-up of the JSL
7. Clubs fill JSL teams from interested players
8. JSL Player fees are paid
9. FFSA finalise the JSL league structure based on confirmed (paid up) team nominations
10. Penalties would not apply to clubs pulling teams from the JSL by 30 November due to lack of numbers

PICK LIKE ALWAYS ,PAY IN FULL NO REFUND.
THEN GET PARENTS AND KIDS TO COMPLAIN TO FFSA IF NOT HAPPY.

Skillaroos squad will be picked by end of Sept / early Oct, so clubs can continue to hold their trials 5 months before the season starts ......
